hmmmmmmm except i just looked and they seem to be priced incorectly and a pain to order just 1 issue of 1 mag - it automatically puts 1 of each issue in your basket.

chicky - THAT's the kingfisher plate i'd searched for for so long (on Cross Stitch Gold), called up and they told me there were no back issues of it left - looks like they found some!

Not done any stitching today - DH is ill and doing my head in! xx

Was it a bloke looking for it? Coz we all know that unless it's *right* in front of their eyes, they 'can't find it anywhere'...sigh! Cross Stitch mag staff are quite often useless. Any problems I've had with them have been a nightmare to sort out. :cool:

I'm still getting on with the cut-thru, not at a very fast pace though! I've taken my weekly update picture, but the lead that connects it to the laptop seems to be broken, so I can't post it.

I only realised yesterday that it's my parents 40th wedding anniversary this year. Now I'm in a panic trying to find a nice piece to stitch for them in time :eek: My mum is quite particular, and I know she wouldn't like anything that I've found so far. Has anyone seen any good 40th anniversary (or even general anniversary that I could personalise) that isn't too flowery? Everything I've seen seems to be all flowers!

It's going to be a busy weekend here as my daughter has 3 dance performances this weekend. I think there will be very little stitching time!

at first i thought .... how strange...... but now i think what a lovely idea as you could put them at top, you and any grandkids. what a great way to illustrate what they have achieved in 40 years.

shame you can't get it from the UK (which makes wallet and hubby very happy at $63 + $12 p&p.

:rotfl:That made me laugh but living life with a husband and four sons i know how true that is. In fact at times even when it's in front of their eyes they don't see it. unless it's a tv screen , pc screen , or games console.

I was thinking about bubbles and mrs mac the other day too. Hope they are both ok.
