I had a neighbour do it when her baby daughter died. Slightly more moving scenario than this case though (as long as the hand brake stays on ).
Sorry, know that was in bad taste........A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Thank you Mr Jones for this wonderfully funny distraction, a relative is seriously ill in hospital and this thread has helped me get through today without breaking down, please keep updating.

just to clarify, there was a statutory service at the crem, but only Mrs C attended. Mr C wasnt welcome as the father didnt approve of the private afterhours homevisits by the surgery lady in the campervan and Edna C was on a sightseeing holiday in Mozambique with the SOBS.
I asked what SOBS was as I was confused and she said "oh the Society of Blind Scrabblers"
I asked why they went on a sightseeing holiday to Mozambique and she said "well, it was that or Kazakhstan"
why those of all places I enquired
"Well" Mrs C said "SOBS only went on holidays to countries with high scrabble scores and as Kazakhstan only scored 30pts, Moambique came in at 34"
"No" I said, "I meant why a sightseeing holiday" "Oh" replied Mrs C "they had a good feeling about Africa"
Anyway, enough drivel, the FD went after about an hour and Mrs has given up the idea of being taken, so we are eating in instead.
Mr and Mrs C have asked for small favour. They are planning on laying on some nibbles after the service at the camper and have asked for use of our freezer as they are nipping down to Iceland to stock up on the buffet food.0 -
the idea of SOBS contemplating going on a Sight Seeing holiday to a war-zone.. has me weeping with laughter..... (no offence to any of our members here who are visually impaired@)
""I didnt realise coming to discuss coffins included a range of knock knock jokes... "
would those be the "knock knock let me out" jokes ?0 -
