There is always the coffee table they could "borrow" to lay her out on?

it seems they are wanting (subject to talking to the funeral director) to lay out the coffin in the campervan so people can come by on the day before and say goodbye in private.

Let's face it, it won't be the only thing that's been 'stiff' in that campervan in the last couple of weeks :D

This has been a most entertaining hour or two reading this.

You should seriously think about putting this into some sort of script or turning into a book.

PM me if you want to discus it further

One day some company will do what they say they will do and charge a fair charge.:T

Not doing the opposite of that which they promise and charge you a fortune for the privileged. :(

    Or maybe not:mad:

May not matter - I predict that the next episode involves the camper, complete with coffin and Ma Clampett, being nicked off the driveway :rotfl:

Well, in the REAL world it can take some months for such a matter to come to court (4 months in the case of a friend of mine getting a speeding ticket on the motorway, during which time he was allowed to drive)

I was thinking along similar lines, but we don't want to pre-empt Mr Jones's developing plot, do we?
I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say. :)

Just had to post after spending many days and hours thoroughly enjoying the whole post. It had me in stitches and gave a little sunshine to a new year and increases in just about everything. Just shows you, you can laugh without money.
Thanks for sharing this with us Mr Jones and I for one believe you, some you may have elaborated but there is definately truth in there also.
Best of luck and please do continue.x

How about the dog dragging Ma Clampett's corpse out of the coffin in the campervan and having a good gnaw at it on the drive??

Yes, that could happen, but I am afraid the puppy is vegetarian. He loves the Linda McCartney sausages.

Well, quick update, and because I think it will have some hilarity and because without the Clampetts in my life right now all I will have to look forward forward to is Mrs Js New Years Vegetarianism and endless packing and humping, I have authorised the camper thing.

What I will be intreagued at is whether the coffin can remain overnight or whether it will be on a day release? I have never seena dead body before and part of me wants to pay my respects.
