There's always two sides to every story...

They'll be very few people who fit the bill (Sold in Devon, camped in caravan on drive waiting to buy house in Dinas Powys..)

They can answer that once the OP's gone out and they've used to key to let themselves in and decided to use his PC/Internet to do a spot of online shopping.... turning up on Grabbit for inspiration.

It can't be real. Even if the motorhome/drive were true, nobody would leave the key under the mat for these people/in these circumstances. They might not even be the buyers and might clear out the house while he's gone.

And/or squat. Certainly moving their stuff in's on the cards for this thread, but I think it's just a Christmas Tale.

What a strange situation, how weird. Seems you were caught unawares and did not think of the consequences when they asked to park. Where do you park your own car? I guess you now have little alternative but to tough it out and it will be a long time to Jan 04th.

I certainly would not let them use my toilet:eek: Whatever next can we have a shower, can we have a key in case we need to use the facilities when you are out?

Well we have just come back from the retail park to drop off some bits we got. Xmas decs much reduced guys!

Key was missing from under the mat so they have been in. Place looks untouched until I nipped to the loo. Whilst they have left everything where we left it, we now suspect they have been in for a shower. We dont use Head and Shoulders and there is a bottle in the bottom of the shower.

They also appear to have wandered around upstairs around the bedrooms as there are damp footprints. I am not sure whether to confron them as they have no reason to be going in the bedroom. Also the Badedas is on the side by the shower and there is a bit more misisng from it (it was a new bottle yesI terday and only a drop was used)

I am sat in the study looking down the drive and I can see the dog is tied up outside barking so that will please the neighbours.

For the person who asked about the drive. We have shingle drive spanning the from entrance and to the side of the property. Its quite a big area and they are in the corner next to the connifers.

i guess they have the key. they have a motorhome so if they go out they have to take the home with them. The local town (if you can call it that) is quite a trek and they dont appear to be the trekking kind.

If think they are probably hiding in the caravan as they prob didnt expect us to come home. A bit embarrasing was I left the PC on.

Remember they haven't exchanged contracts yet. He probably doesn't want to upset them too much in case they don't proceed.

I would have stopped them sooner, just old them that my solicitor says they can't remain on premises til completion and get them to camp out on family's driveway.
