Been following this thread with great interest, was very tempted to have a drive around Dinas Powis on my way to see family in Barry on Xmas Morning but the turkey was in and I was on the minutes!
So sad about Mrs C Senior, will there be a death notice in the South Wales Echo with the funeral arrangements as feel I should represent everyone on MSE by attending, I will dust down my black coat and wear a hat out of respect to the late Mrs C.
Is there a do after, Barry Golf Club is a excellent venue or what about a small inimate do in the College, S.A Brain are doing cheap meals during January, I had a flyer through the door today, £2.99 for a pint & a curry.....marvellous.
We could also arrange a bus from Cardiff to DP for all the mse'rs that would like to pay their respects to the late Mrs C.
Its a shame T.W.W. aren't still going as your script writing would be acclaimed all over Wales, still I'm sure S4C are keeping watch on this thread LOL.
If I were you I would hang around they Bay & see if the Dr Who team need you LOL.
With sympathy to you and Mrs J, Mr & Mrs C, the next door but one neighbours and of course the puppy, oh & to everyone at the BP Garage.
Keep us updated on the funeral arrangements, I'm thinking of starting a collection for flowers so need to know which funeral parlour to send them.
Take care

When I reentered this thread to post, somehow i stuck it into google and came up with a link of a website in Australia about camping.
Quite the anoraks they are, but what they cant grasp is when someone makes a comment about a peg bag (which to a stranger is lost on them) they cannot grasp why people hit the tanks button. I thought I would share it with you
Post 4 made me ROFL.

I think that is a UK site, they have a Forum: Denbighshire / Sir Ddinbych
Denbigh, Wrexham, Ruthin, Abergele, Llangollen
I'm not great on Geography but guess that could be near you? Hope Mr and Mrs C are not posters on that forum, it would be awful if they got wind of this thread when you are so close to exchange. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
