  • Gosh,so many years of lurking and I finally write something! Fantastic story line, keep it going Mr Jones.

  • predictable? If you told me a couple of days ago I would become a nursing home and my guest was to fall over in our bedroom and subsequently die, I would have said it was far fetched.

Anyway, I am in work today. Mrs J is at home. I just called her, the Clampetts came over for a cooked brekkie this am after I left and they are going to use our home phone to call the solicitor as their credit has run out on their phones. I am admirable that even when their life has taken a tragic turn, they still wish to proceed today.

Do you say this to people who read novels or watch films?
Can we just take it as read I didn't mean to offend you?

I hope that the date and place of the funeral is relayed to us all. We could then come and see for ourselves a proper "Clampett" type funeral service.

No doubt the VW camper van will be used to transport the remains of Ma Clampett to the funeral.

If this does get turned into a tv series they need to make sure Rob Bryden is available to play Mr Jones. I've been reading all his posts in the style of said Rob, makes it even funnier if that's possible.

I've been loving this thread since I found it on boxing day and can only say OP, I hope it's all made up! It's really funny though, so maybe a new career on the side as a writer beckons in 2011?

    It's only a game
