They'll leave the mother with you, driving off while her teeth are still in the campervan.... and the first thing she'll do is wee on the hall carpet.

You and Mrs Jones deserve medals for your kindness and generosity to these people!! I really hope that everything goes well tomorrow!

If not, I'd be charging them for the inconvenience they have caused you along with the use of your bathroom & your spare room!!
  • I think you should offer this reality 'script' to Channel 4 or even the BBC so they can make a comedy movie. I would purchase the DVD - it'd be one to treasure :-)

I'm probably worrying over nothing, but it makes me uncomfortable that you are allowing the buyers to stay on your property (and now in your property). Is it possible this might give them any legal rights, as squatters or something else, which they could use against you? I'd be on the phone to my solicitor to check that everything is OK if it was me - and I'd rather pay for the mum to stay for two weeks in a Travelodge than have her move into the house.

I thought the legal date was tomorrow. Where does the 2 weeks come from?

  • All you need do is wait for them to sign on the dotted line tomorrow, agreeing the price and then boot them all out/off your land. (that's if this is really happening ;) )

Well if they want all these 'extras' I think it's time you get them to commit to exchanging as planned tomorrow before you do anything more for them. Once they're committed you've only got to endure all this nonsense for another few days/weeks till completion.

    Good Luck Mr. Jones!

Oh Mr Jones! If this is for real, how could you let the mother lodge, surely it is their problem. You are either too kind or too gullible :).

If your house sale goes through tommorrow, unless I cant remember that far back (too much excitement in between!) are you and Mrs J buying another place?

Keep up the magnificent tale please............ :T:T:T
