Well someone has a spring in her step this morning. The Clampetts never did come back in last night and remained in the Caravan all night. I guess they must have worked their way through the book.

Mrs Clampett came in bright and cheery, and to say she looked 5hag ged out was an understatement. A bit of an embarrasing moment though, I didnt see her bring the book in and she left it on the side in the kitchen with my post it note torn out and plastered to the front of it with THANK YOU scrawled on it. We only realised the book had been left on the side when I was out walking to dog, and the window cleaner came in for his money and was waiting in the kitchen when Mrs J went upstairs to get the money for him. She came back into the kitchen (and being a cheeky 20 something) Dave the window cleaner was flicking through it. On his way out, he commented on the "rather detailed notes" and gave her a knowing wink. Well, Mrs J didnt know where to put herself (although page 69 was a clue). Rest assured the book is now firmly hidden from view in the kitchen draw.

Anyway, Mrs has returned to the Camper. I am back from the dog walk and Mrs J and I are about to get showered and go and buy some alcohol for tonight. A bit of us feels we should invite the clampetts over as we have family coming round, but a little bit thinks maybe some distance. Also, Mrs J's family are strict Catholics and may not appreciate the Devonish neighbours.

The great news for us of course is that we are still on with the sale (no news is good news and all that!)
