I did take a picture of the van in the pound earlier. A bit lonesome, i tried to load it here but it comes out massive. A bit of cropping tmw if you fancy a laugh.

When are we going to see "evidence" of this motor home, surely the OP can work out how to resize the image. And of course now that the motor home is back the unwelcome house guests can move back into it unless it is more entertaining to let them remain in the house?

On a more serious note how long did it take you to decide to keep the dog, it would appear that it was a decision you came to while driving to the police station to get motor home - don't you think you should have discussed it with your wife/partner first?

Which police station was he taken to out of interest?

oh its been ages sience last update well im feeling poorly so going bed wondering what happens next maybe they will be a bob rita and sue moment but with a motorhome instead ! keep us inform op we are so worried lol
  • Quick update

The female half of the Clampetts has moved back into the camper van on the drive way after a bit of a frank exchange of words.

Mrs C was in the kitchen making lunch for themselves when Mrs Jones was loading the dishwasher,

Mrs C was moaning to my wife about her husband, but Mrs J wasnt getting involved. Then Mrs Clampett decided to start moaning about the kitchen stating the units need replacing and the sink wasnt draining quickly enough and they arent sure whether they can afford to replace the kitchen.

Mrs J pointed out that the house was sold as it is and then Mrs C retorted that the living room was a bit small when 4 of us are all sitting in there. Mrs Clampett asked how easy the house was for entertaining and we told them the house is fine.

"oh, why are you moving then"

Mrs J was honest in her reply in stating we need an extra bedroom.

So it isnt big enough retorted Mrs Clampett

My wife, god bless her asked Mrs C why she was moving and was it anything to do with the provident perchance. Well, like a match to a fuse, Mrs C went and found her husband, had a right go at him and promptly moved back to the caravan. She told her husband he isnt moving back, so he is now sitting in our spare room where he will spend yet another night.

Blimey, so much for a quiet Christmas. I will be glad to go back to work tomorrow!

    Cardiff central.

Sorry I forgot to post the pic. I will get round to it I promise.

The wife and I talked about having a dog in bed the night before as we have enjoyed having a dog around the house (having no kids, pets seem wonderful) and despite his penchant for Rudolf and Sindy I thought she would be OK with it. Women and puppies go hand in hand.
  • i know you lot think we are mad entertaining these people, but we only have to bide 6 days. Anyway, people say moving is as stressful as divorce.

Around the house is one thing, in bed is quite another :D:D:D

Still, I suppose it would mean that Fido's claws get clipped on a regular basis, LOL
  • I was dreading it

Mr C has asked if I would like to "go for a drink"

This can only mean one thing, either he is thirsty, or I feel a marital chat is coming on. I'll get my coat

As much as I love this thread, I so want to drive around Dynas Powys looking for the camper van to see if it's true.

It's not far from me, but unfortunately a close family member in hospital means that I can't.

Jonesy, keep up the posts. They have given us some laughter when we needed them.
