Hi Jody, brilliant news on being sub-5k! I'm sooooo jealous of your holiday though :o I bet it's going to be amazing.

Fingers crossed no drastic changes are needed at work, I bet that's really stressful :(

I didn't realise it had been so long! I just don't know where the time is going at the moment, the good thing about that is it will soon be holiday time :T. It's now only 6 weeks and 3 days away .

I don't have much of interest to tell you all....

It was my birthday on Monday and I got lots of money, a cool camera bag, some Maldivian Reef fish books, flowers, cake, rose champagne! We had a lovely Thai meal and it was a great afternoon. I've bought some holiday-esque bits but I've been very MSE about it, I bought a Kaftan, skirt, beach dress, evening top, flip flops and a new rash vest for about £45 altogether, mostly from Ebay/Asda. I've also been stocking up on Asda sun cream as it's 5* rated and only £2 a bottle . Been saving lots of change in our jar and have almost £105 now, I'm going to change it to $ just before we go and it will be used for tips, some cocktails and maybe a trip or two. I also bought the waterproof camera I desperately wanted, I sold the camera lens I had bought and used my birthday money so it didn't cost me anything.....yay!

Work is ok, still needing things to pick up but it's looking like it might be alright by year end.

I am trying to be extra MSE this month as I now only have one more payday before we fly out. I am trying to save enough money to cover the diving I plan to do whilst I am there (about £350). I expect I will use a little from savings but am trying to keep it to a minimum, as we will be away for two weeks I will save around £100 just from not using the car or buying food!

Well, thats me for now, I will be attempting to slowly catch up with everyones diaries!

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

Wow, only 6 weeks away! That's come around so quickly! I bet you're going to have an amazing tome :D Good luck with the savings for your diving. I've only been snorkelling, but I bet diving in the maldives will be fantastic :T
