Evening all
I too have finished work til 4th Jan :j:j and have all my Xmas stuff bought.
Had a scary moment on the drive in to work when I hit a patch of ice and slid  Luckily there was no cars near by and the road was wide so I didn't hit anything! I didn't get much done in work this morning. We left at 12.30pm and went for lunch which was nice. My brother then rung, conversation went like this:
Bro - Sister you know how much you love shopping?
Me - No way on earth am I doing your Christmas shopping! (Note - I offered last weekend to buy his stuff but it was a limited offer)
Bro - But you'll be my favourite sister..... (Note - I am his ONLY sibling!!!)
Me - No
Bro - I'll pay you.....and it's only 2 presents for our grandmothers
Me - Ah go on then, it'll cost you a tenner :rotfl:
Bro - Ok then.
So I then went to Tesco and got 2 giant boxes of Thorntons, which were under half price at £6. Told darling brother they were £10 each though :rotfl:So I made £18 on the deal
, that'll learn him!
I then popped to visit one of my grandma's as I won't see her on Xmas Day. I dropped off her present from me (a poinsetta) and some cards for family. Had a nice half hour there. Then met the girls for dinner in Harvester. My friend is now a step-grandmother (at the age of 29  - her OH is a lot older!) so she showed us pics of the baby. I'd bought the baby some babygrows which she thought was nice of me.
On way home I popped to Lidl and got a bottle of knock off Baileys which I am going to consume tonight whilst putting up my Christmas tree
Have a fab evening all

Marie My sister is most impressed that she still has water as her well is fairly new, so they haven't buried the pipes yet. She has covered the well head and the pipes with 2 duvets and a yoga mat that my nephew wee'd on when he was drunk. seems to be a magic combination....0
