Evening All
Went shopping at Aldi but ended going to Asda for a lot of things because Aldi had run outbut I can honestly say
I AM DONE:j:D:j! Even bought extra booze for next Christmas (Beat the duty and VAT rise)
de1amo...... All that I have asked for is a dehydrator
Dinner tonight is a nice HM mushroom soup followed up with a cherry pie and custard ( I found a box of cherries lurking in the back of the freezer that we picked in the summer)
Don't like anything too heavy just before Christmas.
Have good nights all xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

I am going back out in ten, to Mr T's. Haven't managed yet, the traffic in Glasgow was awful, and DSIS had a friend coming for the evening so we had to come home. I will join in the drinks when I get back though, I will need them I am stressed to the max. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Evening all,
Travellers all here or accounted for, poor little DGD2 has a bad cold and not feeling the best although she was very proud to show us the gap where a tooth used to be and to tell us that she got €2 from the Tooth Fairy....DN thought that was very mean so reckoned she should keep an eye out for the fairy the next tooth she loses and haggle him/her up to at least double that amount!
Today has been busy...hoses and men with wet boots all over my house....water supply restored via hose so OH spent ages up in one attic (we have 2 just to complicate matters!) filling the water tank there....only one of the 3 toilets is working due to airlocks or frozen pipes somewhere, but at least the melting snow and flushing with a bucket is finished....no shower in operation but we have hot water in at least 2 bathrooms so washing is possible. Neither DW or WM in use so will be hiding dirty clothes all over the place and washing up by hand, am using DW as a drainer so no wiping necessary. We are going to cook and eat Christmas dinner in brother's...he is not having a problem with his DW or water supply!
Think that the season is going to be a quiet one, nobody is keen to move too far in current road conditions so we will be staying at home most of the time instead of visiting the inlaws as we usually do.
Kerry seems a little subdued for want of a better word....she was chasing around all day barking at birds who are trying to feed on seeds and berries in the garden so maybe she is just tired.
Hugs and good wishes to those who are not on top form for the season, keep warm and safe everybody.
