Elysia - he's ok he ended up being diagnosed with a chest infection but obviously as he had complained of chest pains we had to phone an ambulance, think i have to write a report when I get in to work this afternoon about it.
I am pottering round the house and trying to keep it tidy as I go but the girls seem to have other plans!!
I have been rating a little this morning, one more review to go on and then thats it until next week, C seems quiet today think people are posting for the double rates but then not rating much!

Just been looking through George and Matalans websites at their sales, matalan have their fluffy kids dressing gowns going down to half price so i'm thinking I might brave the sales on boxing day and get some to put away for the girls for next year, could get one for my niece aswell. Love that I have a little bit of money from surveys etc and can buy stuff in the sales, I see things every year and never have the money. All I can say is thank you very much to all on this thread and I look forward to the thread in 2012 - MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL xxxxx

Yay - I won a prize on dooyoo for my photo of the tree. Don't know what it is yet, but Yay. I am definitely starting to feel christmasy. :money:

I'm not worrying too much about C over xmas, I'm at 87 now so over my target, if I manage to get to 100 i'll be overjoyed, but if not no worries! Just want to focus on the festivities now tried putting DD's trike together last night and couldnt even get passed the first step on the instructions gonna have a try again tonight and if I can't do it shes not having it :rotfl:nah ill have to get someone round to have a look

Jammie - Yes I think we all knew that, but It doesn't do any harm to be reminded. I've only earned £6 in Nectar points all year, I use Mr T's.

Did I tell you all I have enough CC points for two Adults and two kids to go to Tenerife, or the Algarve. Just need to find some flight money now. Who's got the money tree? Pass it to me, it's my turn. :rotfl:

Just back from Mr T - It's 15/20 minutes away, so half an hour or so there and back. How long have I been gone? Four and a half hours. :eek:

Cornish - I'm fine. I think if they had come out and said something it wouldn't matter, but the fact they put a letter through the door, unsigned, really got to me, expecially as there's only one person it could be. I'm over it now. I had to wait for OH to get back from work to go shopping though.

Evening all, it has been a bit of an odd day today. Yesterday our oven packed in, it will be fine for the Christmas food as the thermostat is broken the temperature keeps rising instead of staying at at correct temperature, but baking unfortunately is out of the question until it's fixed. Last night there must have been a power cut or surge as I was woken by the fan coming on in the small hours but had left it on when I went to sleep, that in turn has sent our kitchen light on the blink and needs to be replaced now. I then got into town early to avoid the rush and put my marks and spencer food order confirmation in the pocket of my bag ready for collection and picked up the bit's and pieces I needed elsewhere. Was pleased to find the clinique counter unmanned in Boots so I could test shades of foundation without the hard sell or being held up for ages. Used my Boots points and still have over £100 for the Boots sale though lol. Then went to M&S waited in a huge queue to find I had lost the paperwork. Luckily they allowed me to collect my order without it but had the faff of trying to prove I paid the £20 deposit. Went to see a friend and then the car decided to act really weird I thought it was going to breakdown but I got home safely so the ball joint will have to be repaired sharpish.

But... I got home to a win of a letraset pen (my very first one) and a letter from the IPM who have been investigating a win that the company would not send me, over six months it has been going on, finally the company have decided to give me £100 of clothing vouchers instead which is a better prize in my opinion. I won't be holding my breath until it hits my doormat but if it arrives soon I will be able to pick up some new clothes in the sale and it's been a while since I had new clothes.

Sorry things have been awful with the neighbours Elysia, you sure can't pick them which is such a shame. Glad to hear you are feeling alot more festive now

Chel, hows your cake hun? I bet it looks brilliant take pity on my 'fit to be a brick' cake and save me a slice

Aww bless you Emma, when we all work together we get brilliant results, I think Elysia was saying before that her totals this year have blown last years out of the water and it's all down to a bit of hard graft and the support and help from everyone on here. I couldn't have made the amount I did this year without the kicks up the bottom and everyone sharing what they have done. I hope you all have some money left over to treat yourselves for the hard work you put in x

Last year I made £950 - I haven't got my exact details (my spreadsheet got lost with comp trouble) but I estimate I beat it by four or five times as much. It CAN be done. If I can do it, anyone can.

I'm so pee'd off it's unreal, went to set up DDs tag junior system before I wrap it and it wont turn on. I dont know what to do because I bought it from Amazon ageeessss ago so I can't return it, and I don't think there is anywhere in the nearest town that will sell it to go and get it tomorrow and I'm defo not venturing to truro it will be packed! mega annoyed :mad: thats her trike and her tag that ive had problems with now! Feel like just giving up, it's not like ive got her loads and those are her two main pressies

in the last 6 months a friend of ours has use a parking space about twice [normally parks on the drive] then all of a sudden no parking signs have been put up by the house next to the space , why they just didnt ask not to park there i will never know , i think i've seen the space used about 4 times in 6 years lol lol some people are just funny
