    Xmas Saver!
Hope everyone ok, had a fab day yesterday took Miss Hoodie and her friend to an icecream farm, mum came with us, we spent most of the day drinking coffee, while the kids were in + out of playbarn and playing Really good value was £3 for the playbarn, and as long as the kids didn't lose their bads in was unlimited entry from 10am to 5pm,
The icecreams were lush, we counted 48 different flavours, basically u imagine it, there it was, then McDonalds on way home!

Today couldn't be more different the heavens opened were soaked through, we did have a nice lunch in Wetherspoons and dad paid:D, got last of the freh items, so at least don't need to do supermarket run 2mor!
then when we got home, went to check on tshirts + bag, as mum had voluntered to iron them on... she didn't read the instructions:mad: ruined the lot!! - not very good ngt.

Quite fun with incoming postings, had a lovely card from our old GP, and bless his heart he's put a personal message for all of us, and one from my friend down South, a very posh home made one, thou think he would have someone do it for him!

Just having me evening catch up, have decided to ban OU work for a week!!

Don't know if anyone has looked at their local councils website, you can get the following years holidays, its all over the place, the schools in our are don't break up till 21st Dec (fri) then they have week after new yr, but the summer hols, where they normally break up around the 22nd july wend, they have to do another 2 days, whether its going to be going back later don't know, buts it looks quite madness! xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

    Morning All

mum2one - the schools tend to have inset days for the odd days so that'll be up to the individual schools so it may not be too bad.

I don't know when anyone else's going to do their S & S but I'm going to do mine this morning - just thought I'd mention it.

    Have a wonderful Christmas everyone.

Oh thats a good point Julie about S&S! May have to dig mine out this morning too!

Well its Christmas Eve! If we havent bought or done it I aint about to do iy now! Town has been bedlam all week and I cant face it although would love to see the reductions and things today I dont think I am brave enough! lol

Mum2one our schools didnt finish until 22nd which was Thursday which I though was a bit of a shame as usually they have a week before to get all excited! Although it means they dont start back until 9th havent even ventured to look at Summer term times yet!

I still havent got the Christmas spirit much, think its due to all the rain and last year we had had the snow and that made it so much more Christmassy!

IF I dont get back on I wish everyone of you lovely ladies and gent a fabulous Christmas and hope that it goes smoothly and as planned! Have a great day all as we sooooooooooooooo deserve it after all our hard work! MERRY CHRISTMAS! X

    Morning all

Legen, I dont feel Christmassy either, did do last week but this week has been a bit of a let down and the magic seems to have gone out the window. Spent too long in doors on my own with nothing to do, thats the problem.

Not doing any money making today as got OH's bro coming this morning and then we will be cooking some of the dinner for tomorrow this afternoon and going out tonight. OH wants to go to the pub and then to church after (!) just told my Dad and he asked if they have opened a pub in there lol.

Doubt if I will get on tomorrow, although if I get a new lappy I might have to try it out ;)

Just got to say a big THANK YOU to Elysia for all her efforts this year, and thank you to everyone else for joining in and making this the best thread ever. Have a H A P P Y C H R I S T M A S everyone, hopefully see you all Boxing Day if I get a chance, Rufus xx

Don't you know the sale has started. Boots.com is experiencing an unusually high volume of requests. I just hope the Tango woman doesn't come back on. LOL.

I'm off to the sale on Boxing day anyway. Birmingham high street, outside before opening. I'll be there. God it was like a rugby scrum last year.

Legend your light is still on, so I'll say Merry Christmas to you too before you go. Have a fab on, and give Connor a big hug from me. x

JulieJim - Great idea hun. I'm going to do that now while I forget too. Happy Christmas to you too, and we'll see you on the new thread all being well.

Rufus - Merry Christmas to you too. I'm just so pleased you have done better than expected, and I haven't let you down. I know you did it all yourself, but I hope I was there with motivation when you were lacking. I really hope you do get your new laptop. That really would be a special christmas. Have a fab time, and we'll see you after, ready for the next one. :)

Cornish - sorry to hear about the toy trouble. Have a glass or two of something tonight, get them out again and I'll bet they will work, it's always the way. Are you sure it's not in Demo mode. That bloomin Lotso teddy I reviewed was like that all year, until two weeks ago. ;)

Lots to do today. I need to tidy and vaccuum, the elf left shredded paper and snowflake sequins (snow) all over the floor last night. I think she can't wait to go home to Santa tonight. ;) At least I HAVE to vaccuum now, and can't put it off. I also need to wrap the last few pressies that came through the post yesterday. Go to Mum's to open our Christmas eve presents (we can't wait for Christmas), and what else? I'm sure there's something else inbetween.
