Oh No - Chiristmas makes me all soppy and emotional and I'm sitting here with tears streaming down my face.

MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL, AND THANK YOU FOR BEING SUCH WONDERFUL PEOPLE - ALWAYS CARING AND SHARING. YOU ALL MAKE ME EXTREMELY PROUD TO BE A PART OF M.S.E.

Everything all done. We're all sat here in pj's waiting for bedtime and Santa's visit. We're tracking him on the internet and can see him getting closer. :D

Rufus - congrats to your Son and his Fiancee. :)

Nicky - Hang on just two more days. ;) We'll all be thinking of you, and we hope you get your internet sorted soon.

Michelle - I hope sis doesn't mind the jumper will be late. You've done your best and that's all anyone can ask. ;)

Thanks for the s & S reminder. Forgot this morning, doing it now.

Going to have a Baileys now, (I don't drink usually) so If I come back on all soppy again, you know why. ;)

Have a Good One everyone - You all really deserve it. :A

S&S Is shop and scan. You need to sign up at www.volunteer4panels.com and they will let you know when they need more people. You get a barcode scanner and you scan everything you buy, and then download it all before a Sunday. Obviously we don't want to be doing it tomorrow, so we are doing it today. You get £10 for doing it, every five or 6 weeks or so. It sounds more difficult than it is, takes minutes, so it's worth it.

  • Evening everyone, hope everyone is sorted and enjoying a lovely evening :)

It's been hectic today, we decided to give the sausage rolls and mince pies a miss with the oven on the blink. Had to run to the post office this morning and pop to the shop for goose fat, completely run out everywhere but duck fat will do and will go well with the meat. We done the housework and decided to exchange our gifts as we wont get a chance to see dd open hers and do ours before having to go out to see hubby's family. Hubby had hi touchpad and we have been playing angry birds on and off all day lol. Still doesn't feel like Christmas but nevermind we tried :) DD had her baby annabell early, it doesn't work properly it's supposed to giggle and laugh, and be rocked and patted to sleep but it doesn't, she loves it and wont let us try to fix it she ends up in tears thinking as she loves it so much bless her.

I have just done the Santa bit and all is ready for the morning, just need to set my alarm so I get up before dd. She is going to be so excited :)

Congrats Rufus, you will have to make a lovely outfit for the wedding :)

S&S is still midnight tomorrow but could someone post a reminder incase I forget and I have an S&S food panel thing to complete too, if I remember I will post but would be very grateful if I do forget.

Just wanted to say MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone! Well done everyone on such a great year, you have all done so well and have done yourselves proud. It's amazing what a great group of people can achieve with a bit of hard work, friendship and support from each other. You are all shiny stars and this year has been financially less stressful than it could have been. Have a fantastic Christmas, relax, have fun and ennjoy yourselves, you all deserve it and hope everyone loves their secret santa pressies. Mummy christmas over and out.... :D

  • So relieved - broke the news to my sister about the jumper and she said don't worry about it. I had said no to her BF when he asked me to make it, so it would have been a surprise. I will just finish it off now and he can have it for next year. He bought a primark onesie anyway to wear something daft, so I feel less bad.

We finished at 10 wrapping. Just got the stockings to sort out. Don't want to do it till after we take DS2 to the loo as if he wakes up and sees presents he won't sleep.

Managed to write 3 reviews too today, and answer enough Qs on cha for an £8 bonus. What am I like eh?

I've also ironed all the school uniform for going back to school. I am determined to be more organised for next year.

I'm finally feeling that perfect amount of excitement. Can't wait.

cornish what a relief there with the batteries. So pleased for you. At your DDs age though, I have found every year my two are over the moon upstairs with the stocking, and then are totally awed by the downstairs pressies. I have gone a little mad again, but most of it was in the pressie cupboard and I haven't bought loads of new stuff, just stuff I bought last year then thought was too much.

Enjoy girls. We have all worked so hard, and I will probably stay offline tomorrow as I don't trust myself not to go on chow. :o I know what I am like. I will pop on boxing day though for the new thread before we go away on the 27th.

    xx
