    Happy Crimbo everyone.

I'm here - Turned on laptop because DD's new Wii remote is charged via USB (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it) ;)

I've been on Chow, and done a few rates here and there. DD1 is reading her new Lee Evans book(not the only thing she received obviously :)), and DD2 is hidden under a mountain of toys. OH is out taking the dog a walk.

Thank you to my secret santa - I love my new Gorjuss mug. :D It's so lovely. I'll think of you when I have a cuppa later.

Well my plan didn't work. DD2 went to bed at 10.15. I thought she'd fall to sleep quickly and lie in. No chance she didn't go to sleep until 12, and was up at 4. I refused to get up until 5, so all presents are unwrapped, I'm just about to sort out the dinner. :)

Just another reminder incase you pop back on Savvy - S & S.

Take care everyone - Enjoy your day. xxx

MERRY CHRISTMAS ELYSIA AND ALL YOU LOVELY LADIES!

OH and DS are having races with his remote control cars and I am wondering why I didnt buy myself some ear plugs#!!!

DS has so many toys think that may have something to do with wrapping and putting them in the attic I kinda forgot how much he had got up there! Oh well they were money neutral so I dont care! Chrsitmas and birthdays for 2011 were money neutral thanks to all of you so have a great day guys and gals! xxxx

  • Merry Christmas everyone!

Still not in a Christmas mood but hey ho, dd is enjoying the day. She had great fun opening her presents this morning and decided she was having a giant chocolate coin for breakfast. Been to see th inlaws and hubby has came back a bit miserable as his nan didn't get him a present (she probably did but she forgot who two presents were for so didn't hand them out in case they were for the wrong people) and he wasn't sure if she liked the one we gave her which she did but he was off doing other things so didn't hear. Each to their own, they're only presents, few months down the line no one will remember who received which presents anyway.

Anyway, back home now and the dinner is on, wont be eating until about 4pm :(

A bit of chill out time now as hubby is playing angry birds, dd is tired and I have already played with my new makeup and listened to my new cd's.

Have a great day everyone, I'm sure I will pop on before bed and also thank you for my gift ss :)

  • I've got a spare hour to kill as my dad rang and asked us to go over an hour later so thought I would pop on. Kids didn't wake till 7 so I got away quite lightly I think.

DS2 had a momentary whinge santa didn't bring what he wanted, but now they are both happy. The pile of gifts were quite substantial. Not a patch on what they will get off my mum, but they are happy.

DH took charge cooking dinner and excelled. I had a long shower and pamper session. DH surprised me with a soap and glory gift set. I thought he hadn't got me anything as I picked up a few bits I wanted myself, so a lovely surprise.

Glad to hear people are having a nice day.:D

Michelle - I'm really pleased OH bought you something. I had a lot of money spent on me, but only got three gifts. His pile was massive, and mine was diddy.

Going to the sales in the morning with DD1 and Sister 1, and then to Mum's for more pressies and turkey curry and chips for lunch. I'm going to post the new thread now, because I don't know what time I'll get back. Talk about dedication. LOL.

    I wander how Nicky is???

  • Merry Christmas all, especially Elysia. I haven't meant to be ignorant chick, I upgraded to a smartphone thinking I'd be doing all my internet stuff quicker but it means that I just check new emails & swear at the thing when my stubby fingers mistype on the tiny keyboard. So I only log in to anything when on the big pooter which I dont do as much cos I have the smartphone! :o

Well I'm on it now & as it starts so it finishes. I joined this thread with my hubby playing his crimbo COD & last post of the year is to the tune of explosions in COD: Modern Warfare!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this fab thread. I never would have done this otherwise: (from the s/sheet & includes cost of 3 kids birthday parties not just pressies). Here's to 2012
