  • Same person again spamming us. I've reported it, can someone else click spam too so they delete it.

    One new review written.

68/100 for my challenge. Almost had enough coffee to kick start me to doing something more productive, but thought I would do some writing while the kids are playing lego harry potter and quiet.

    Reported the spam.

Thats a great total for C - I dont know where you and lots of others get the energy from. I am going to try and get a few written so I can put a couple a day on until Saturday.

Lots of coffee - lol. And if you saw the state of my house at the minute. I'll get there some day.

Another review written for a toy, and put on both. That might be it for now. I need to get dressed and see what mischief DS2 is up to. He went upstairs in a huff.

Right. Time to move, my bum has gone numb sat on the chair.

  • Morning ladies, who was it that was saying about complaining a month or two ago? Well whoever it was, thank you! I got some tights for DD in 2-3 shes only just turned 2 and they were miles too small, so instead of taking them back I emailed them and got £20 in vouchers in the post today... they only cost me a fiver :D

I'm up to date with rating on c now, waiting for a suggestion to go through for an appliance, so being a first review aswell I hope I can get a half decent amount of rates for it before the promo runs out, then concentrate on books and toys after

I need to go into town aswell, thought I had all my pressies but totally forgot my nan :( don't want to goooo! I hate town when its crowded!

  • Good afternoon everyone.

Mum2one - I'm glad your arm is feeling a bit better. Hopefully it will feel fine for Christmas day :)

Legend - glad Connor is feeling better. I started with a cough yesterday, it didn't hurt at all, just felt a bit odd and I had no voice, but it hurts today :( DS has been coughing a lot too but hasn't said that it hurts at all. I'm having lots of hot tea and it seems to be helping.

Thanks for all the well wishes about the baby, I'm getting quite excited now! I feel ready for it now as we've got everything in place, the crib is set up etc and all food shopping is done. Now I can just sit back and wait. All my family have made bets about when the baby will be born and my Dad has said Christmas day. That's the one day I would like to avoid as I don't think the baby would be too happy with me for having it's birthday then. My prediction is 1st January which would be fine. In fact, any day apart from Christmas dady is fine with me, not that I get any choice!

    Plans for the day:
    * More rating on Chow. I'm at nearly £20 there now. I know it's nothing compared to some of you but I'm really pleased with it as I don't feel I've had to do much work for that at all. 2 of my suggestions got put on very closely together so one of them only has about 5 rates. I think I'll wait until the other has more rates and then swap them so it's at the top of the list. Has anyone else noticed the huge amount of rubbish reviews in the latest reviews section? There are loads that are quite odd and not even really about what it's meant to be about. I'm not even rating them as I don't want to risk a revenge rate that reduces my overall rating.

    * Fudge making - I have all my ingredients now so I will be making the Baileys and white chocolate fudge and possibly a chocolate fudge if there's time.

    * Finish present wrapping - we're off delivering presents tomorrow so they MUST be finished today.

    * Might do a bit of ironing if I can find the energy. It's bottom of the list though :o

  • Evening all, been very busy today. Got up early and was in town before 9am to ensure we had a parking spot and it was lovely and quiet, only a few people around it was glorious. We got dd new shoes, was in and out within 15 minutes! Did the last food shop before Christmas which was busy but the tills were quiet so only a few hours out and about, teamed with blue skies, glorious sunshine and mildly warm. Not very Christmassy mind :( Checked my car and someone had scraped my nearside near my light on the bumper too, I know it wasn't me as I would have noticed hitting something so pretty peeved about as it wasn't there yesterday.

When we got back we cracked on with salt dough decorations, it was, umm interesting but we made quite a few just hoping they will dry overnight but the house is freezing. Our Christmas cake is in the oven and it is very very boozy, it's like hitting a brewery walking in the kitchen but only 30 mins to go in the oven before we can let it rest. Making the mince pies, sausage rolls and finising the cake tomorrow.

Going to do the last of the wrapping in a minute, it feels never ending but teh to do list is getting smaller thankfully!

How has everyone been, very quiet in her today isn't it? Hope you manage to get everything done today Nicky, take it easy though. The fudge sounds delicious!

    Evening all

I havent done anything interesting today, thats why I havent been back on, I was reading the posts but it seems dead in our house at the moment. I am hoping YD might come in soon and spend the evening in as I am getting fed up with just the dog for company.

Hope everyone else has had a good day xx

Oh dear the oven is completely broken, the element and thermostat have gone and the Christmas cake is burnt to a cinder. The inside is salvageable but not enough to be given to my mum as a thank you for Boxing Day dinner. Not good :(
