    Merry Christmas all!

My family were very happy with presents I brought them and I loved what I got ( I am the biggest Peter Andre fan in the world) and I got his new calendar and perfume in my selection of goodies lol! Despite me being 18 and brother being 21 we still have stockings in our room to wake up to and we love it lol! x

I am so glad you are going to have me sorted next year. This year was terrible I have never been so disorganised. A thing I do not wish to repeat it is far too stressful and I end up trying to do to much in one go which knocks me for six.

I will be in again this year joined late last year and so wish I had been in from the beginning.

I am a single mum to 3 kids aged 3,10,14. Two of them have disabilities as do I so at the moment I am not working just hoping DS will be able to manage full time school in september so that I can go back.

Happy Christmas, welcome to all the new members.

I'm about to write up in my notebook a few last minute glitches that happened this morning - all worked out well in the end, but enough to send my temperature rising.

Everything in the oven cooked much quicker than anticipated - to say the least! Then the recipe for brussels and chestnuts didn't go to plan - so dug out the chestnuts.

And there was quite a confusion with those envelopes for DS. It was like a comedy film. One problem is that as it's money given at the last moment, I have to scrabble around putting them in the envelopes before he's taken home, which isn't that straightforward as I like to use up to 5 individual smaller envelopes into each larger one.

    This year -
    1. I forgot smaller envelopes and had to use ones from unused xmas cards
    2. couldn't get to the bank this week - forgot earlier
    3. he was given wrong denominations (too large) causing problems
    4. I forgot I had made double - enough for birthday next year
    5. After writing on the smaller envelopes the amounts and in my notebook had to start all over again because of no 4.
    6.I lost them overnight!

And while making breakfast I put coffee and milk ready for the water in the cup (I have a phobia about putting milk in afterwards LOL) well, I managed to drop a cup of it on the floor. Couldn't believe where it ended up (floor, up all down the cupboards) yet in the cup seemed like only a tiny bit of liquid.

So did everything go smooth for you?

Anglea - what a mix up!

Lunch went swimmingly - I didn't burn a thing. LOL (it's either burned or raw) everything was perfect. We had champagne with our meal, which was nice, as It was the stuff I got for free off a bingo site to celebrate a big(ish) win. Then OH cleared away.

DD's and OH watched Toystory 3 while I did some work for the other thread (see the new list on post 2). Went to mum's and had more presents and a buffet for tea. I'm now so stuffed I don't think I can move, but I'm so tired. I've been up since 4.15 but didn't go to bed till 1. (I was still wrapping things I kept finding stuffed into cupboards at 12.

It's been a very wonderful day. Off with sis and DD1 bargain hunting in Birmingham city centre tomorrow, while OH takes DD2 to see Guliivers Travels (free tickets). Back to mums after for turkey curry and chips (our tradition).

I'm so, so tired now, so If I can drag DD off her new DSi, i'm off to bed.

    Take care. Night all xxx
