It didn't have any snags that I could see when I posted it, although I did put it in with a pair of jeans so maybe the tag on the jeans did some damage :( how annoying though.

Re tree decorations, if you sign up for an Artscow.com account they give you some freebies that you just pay shipping for, including some sets of porcelain photo decorations. I got some for us and some for my VBF and they're lovely.

Edit: I think there's a way to refer, so if anyone wants a referral please PM me with your email address, referral credit for the referred person is 1200 free prints credits & 3 8"x8" photo books, and other photo gifts.

    Evening All

Mary hope you have got some answers today and OH is doing ok x x

Ive just spent £40 on Baker Ross, got loads and loads though:
    8 Ceramic Coasters
    6 Ceramic Heart Trinket boxes
    4 packs multicoloured elastics
    2 bags of Beads
1 Foam Penguin Decoration kit containing 8 penguins
    2 Owl Cushion kits
    2 Russian Doll Cushion Kits
1 Pack of 5 Pearlised ceramic pens

Going to get Pip to decorate the ceramics.
I think this will cover all of the Ladies presents as I can give them a Trinket Box and a Bracelet, and a couple of them will get a cushion too.
The gents will all get Coasters and will need to get them another pressie, maybe a mug?

Overall for the money, REALLY pleased with my haul and the progress I've made with Pressies.

I listed the presents today in my new presents list books and its coming along nicely

made some fudge today for brother's birthday out of the kit I bought last year and then read some more recipes which I'm going to do this Christmas to convert them into rum and raisin, whiskey and raisin, mocha and walnut from vanilla, caramel and chocolate. Should be pretty nice and tasty!

Not too many things left to buy which is good going. On the look out for some winter hats and gloves and scarves and fleeces to go into the winter walking kits alongside the winter trax which I still have from last year

Going to write down the bath salts recipes and costs to find out when I can buy them next month

Well done Pipsmum and Fedup - you're going great guns.

Sugarspun - What do you need for the referal? Is it just my email addy? ETA: sorry have headache coming, and didn't read it correctly. I'll do it now.

Sorry to hear the news Mary - Get that letter written, and checked over, and get it posted to as many people as you can. Doctors, consultants and even MP's if need be. Something needs to be done.

    Hi all

Fedup, where do you find room to store all the presents you make in advance?

Pips mum, what are the Russian dolls cushions like?

Mary I hope the apples took your mind off everything going on at the hospital. Did you make yourself a crumble?

I got some blackberries today on the way back from the shops however, a very loud and aggressive dog was in the front yard of one of the houses above and heard me approach on the gravel so I didn't stay long in that spot which is a shame as it's a really good one. Instead I had to juggle with my shopping bags to try the other places.

I plan to make some muffins, it's a recipe in a mag DS bought me yesterday Handmade Living - unusual things in there.

I also recently bought the Simply Handmade crafts mag - liked that and it came with some free gifts.

Rufus, that's a hilarious story about the teeth :)

I have a large corner kitchen cupboard stuffed full of jars and bottles and bowls and cake tins! Then the rest of the present of shoved into my wardrobe or in the spare room usually just out and about. Then the space is regained after Christmas :D

I have ordered a scarf for mum for Christmas and a fleece - not sure how this will fit so will have to ask her to try it on to see how it fits otherwise it can go back if not and I'll go for another brand

The scarf is a more dressy one however have just found a winter hat, scarf and gloves set that will do for out and about walking the dog which I might go for in cream if I don't see anything else.

That leaves mum's gifts nearly done. Still to get a pedometer, a caffiene roll on eye pen on offer as she likes these to go into the pamper hamper along with some nice shower gel. Probably a calender and a book too!

I have all my presents up on top of our wardrobes in boxes or just wrapped up in plastic bin bags. I have loads of teddies and things so I sit all them in front of the boxes around the top of the wardrobes. We have a big loft space but I am scared of storing things I make up there in case any of it gets damp and goes mouldy.

    133 days till Christmas :D

    499 days till Christmas 2012 :D

My plans for the day include wrapping a box of china ready for moving and sorting out and wrapping my family's Christmas gifts plus my dad's birthday gift (October) so I can send it all in one parcel and it's out of the way. Fun fun :)
