Hello all :j
Latest update on OH = consultant went to see him this morning then quickly disappeared when another doctor arrived........this time a surgeon. He looked at OH's notes, booked a ct scan and said a small op might be necessary.........OH's not bothered whats done as long as he feels better. So, at last, something might be getting done:T
I had the studio book..........think that'll be my christmas shopping this year. I was going to make so much but can't see me getting round to it now.
Must finish off sons scarf though and want to get a little scrapbook done for foster daughters baby due in late September. Should be able to do couple of ''christmas in a box'' things..........need some felt in decent colours though. Our shop only seems to sell the really bright colours and I want something a bit more subtle if you know what I mean.
Hope you're all ok............you're all so busy you're wearing me out..............lol:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi all
Thanks for the advice about tartar, I don't have any of it. Luckily the jam I made turned out really nice.
Rufus your post reminded me that I was also going to start getting stamps. I still can't forget the false teeth story LOL.
What did you plan to put in your Christmas box Mary?
I've got a slightly unusual event tomorrow, family visiting, one of them married into aristocracy and her OH is from a very well known family.
After the wedding I felt a bit strange receiving notes from them because they used a title, I didn't think that I would do that with family, if at all.
Another relative lives in a castle, unbelievable when I compare it to my life.0 -

LOL, no it's not them.
If I remember I'll ask about any connection to Windsor, I've never thought about it before SugarSpun.0 -
Hello all :j
Well, this morning 2 doctors in disute with each other over what to do with OH! One wants to drain fluid off and if that doesn't work then operate.
The other says no, two weeks of stronger antibiotics and send him home as another op might see OH back in Intensive Care -talk about gloom and doom!
So OH currently Nil by Mouth and blood taken for cross match and no idea whether they'll operate or not...........preparing for it but nothing been actually confirmed ! Complaint on ''hold'' till this is sorted out as I just might have to add a few more things on.
Angela - christmas box was going to have little soft tree, stuffed hearts/trees/stars made out of felt, flannel yule log, xmas pudding sweets (if I can get them) christmas cracker -that sort of thing............brains gone numb at the minute about anything else.............lolI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Not good news is it Mary? Poor OH, and Poor you not knowing what on earth is going on.
Anglea - oooh do tell ( give us a clue) I'm intrigued now.
I've been doing our family tree - no royalty, although my Nan was always told there was a princess in the family. There is a famous footballer though from the 1800's. That's my claim to fame.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Sugar spun, I ordered some prints off Artscow this morning. Did 100, tried to do another 100 with another code but it wouldnt let me so paid for the first lot. Came right out and started again but still wont let me order another 100 free, do you know if you have to wait so many days between orders? I need 300 prints altogether done, I was hoping to get them all free with their offers as says you can have 400 free.0 -
I don't know rufus, that's weird *confused*. I got a code from them this morning, AUG11PRTS in the discounts and credits section should get you loads of free prints over the next while, if that's any use?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
