    Hi girls

Mary, so sorry to hear about OH. I wonder if he's got diverticulitis? Mum has ended up in hospital several times because of that, the pain is excruciating in the stomach region.

Hopefully mum2one and Miss H are enjoying themselves and arrived without any problems, I can't remember how they were going - by car or train. Some of my relatives were stuck in horrendous traffic in Devon yesterday, they were having lunch with us and were hours late.

Fedup, that sounds like a brilliant list of bath goodies. Soap - I would love to have some with that orange smelling essential oil, neroli is it?

I might go blackberry picking today depends on the weather or else just chill out at home with a new craft mag as it's the first free Sunday I've had in years. Normally I go with ex to his mum's who has dementia but she's away to be looked after by a relative.

Thanks for explaining about the Shard, Rufus. Glad OH liked his birthday.

Hi to everyone and hope you have a good Sunday.

It better get sorted this time -properly. Looks like the ct scan won't be till the morning but he's had a full heart scan -no results as yet. Expect that was because he had the heart attack in intensive care.
Its such a worry and feels so de ja vous all the time.
Just when I was getting inclined towards christmas stuff as well. Oh well, maybe later:)

Mary - hope Mr M improves, you've had such a time of it lately

Sugar - wow what a total, making me think I should really get back to selling on there again

Angela - I'll be working out the costs tonight and found some kits on there which might bring the costs down even more. Looking forward to giving this a try!

Found my present book out today to start making some present lists and costings in and that's about all for today

Anglea - I made loads of Blackberry jam yesterday. It's still a bit early here in the Midlands - we found enough to do it, but it'll be much better next week. I'll make some more then too. I need to stock up, both my DD's love it so much, it only lasted a couple of weeks last year.

Anglea - I just wondered if you would know? I saw loads of berries yesterday while I was picking. I always thought sloe berries were white - but after a google I know what they are now. :) I've even found out what haws are, but I found some berries that I can't identify.

They are on a little bunch like grapes, they are vivid red like a mini tomato but the size of a pea, but some are yellow and green that aren't ripe. I wondered, if you went blackberry picking and saw some, would you tell me what there are (if you know) and if they're edible? I picked some, so I can ask people, but no-one seems to know, and if I don't know what they are I obviously wouldn't want to eat them.

Thanks a lot. Sorry to bother you.

Just priced up the bath salt making and foot scrub and also found a lip balm recipe

    10 jars of organic lip balm = £19 / £1.90 per 15ml jar
6 jars of foot scrub = £2.28 approx per 250ml jar
9 jars of bath salts (lavender/menthol/rose) = same price

Prices might come in lower as can combine costs of salt for larger cheaper bags

    Then later on

£13 to make 15+ bath melts = 86p per melt

Who knew these had such a mark up in the shops?

Will be giving these a go. May order some this week then some more next month and all ready to go for Christmas!

AlJA - like I said before, Body shop have the promotion on - If you spend £20 (at full price) you get free post and packing too. Here's the page with £10 gift sets on http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/_en/_gb/catalog/list.aspx?CategoryCode=C_Gifts_10andunderGifts&ParentCatCode=C_Gifts

buy one for your mum, and one for Bf's mum, should cost £20, then use the code and they'd only cost you £10 for the two -plus quidco or tcb. Bargain - Plus, as an extra bargain, they each have £12.50 to £14 worth of stuff in them. The'd never in a million years think you'd spent less than a fiver. If that's too cheap, they have dearer sets, and skincare and handcare ones, if you prefer not to give smellies.

I'm sorry, I'm not on commission honestly - I've recently got into Body Shop stuff again, they are such good quality, and yet look quite expensive.

If I see anything while I'm on my travels, I'll let you know.

Sounds great to be honest! I'll have to look into this tomorrow evening! Thank you!!!
