Bless you Kate and many thanks but really I don't deserve any more hugs than others who are either suffering or have loved ones that are. So big hugs to all I reckon.............we all need them once in a while anyway.
Think its time for knickers inside out again (or socks or anything really)............lol
OH now awake :T Responding to questions nurse asks with nod and shake of the head - too many tubes for him to talk -thinking maybe a good time to mention having a new kitchen ?? Can hardly argue can he...........lol
Nurse gave him my love and he gave thumbs up she said.........course that send me running to neighbour in floods of tears and she thought something awful had happened when it was really relief plus build up of endless weeks of worry.
So, hope he continues to progress as he is........maybe slow but sure and he aint leaving that place till I get a 'definite' problem solved, not a ''hope we have''
Oh just to add..........that thread I started -think I just called it ''tutorials'' or 'craft tutorials'. Don;t know how to do links but put it in the search box and it'll come upI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

"knock knock"
Remember me? I'm back again for the run up to Christmas (the only place you can mention the word without getting shouted at!). All ready to go again!
A couple of weeks ago I started thinking about Christmas presents again and what I could start to get. So, started just after the Christmas sales and got a couple of things in ready for my brother and then saw a grabbit for some greatly reduced Olay from spargos to go in mum's skincare hamper. Made a start then then thought I'd better look you all up again to see what's going on here.
Have started again on the preserving for hamper gifts like last year and might take the plunge and see if anyone wants a pack at work so I can get them ready with plenty of time.
Life's pottering on here with not much to report. Enjoying a nice break from uni at the moment as its been full on with that and working full time so enjoying this summer greatly!
I hope everyone is well and ok, I'll do a bit of a catch up on the thread to see what I have missed over the last 6mthsfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Hello all :j
Saw OH this morning.........he's off ventilator but tubes in and out of everywhere and oxygen mask. He knew we were there but rambled a bit.....seems to think he's won £6 on lottery............lol
Managed to find a doctor to have a word with and he said they ''think'' they've sorted it.......heard that before and told him its not good enough-I need some ''definites'' in black and white. He said they're giving OH extra nutrients as his were low and he thought gall bladder might not have been doing its job right before all this in which case I cant understand why they didn't sort it out when they removed half the colon........they had gall bladder concerns then !
Didnt stay long as I felt a blubbing coming on and that would have done OH no good at all. Going again tomorrow............family visiting only so neighbour is being my neice for the evening.
He's likely to be in intensive care at least couple more days then on to a ward then home but I've told them he's not to be sent home till everythings working and ok.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hello everyone
Thanks Mary for all the updates. Before I had read your latest post I was wondering if OH would be a bit confused when he wakes up, that often happens. Even though you mentioned about cheques for Christmas I bet you'll be re-covering something before long
Susan I read in your latest post 'anyone I missed out' - you didn't write about yourself - how are you?
hi fedup, nice to see you again.
Nannyboo - you and Mary have a secret code LOL
This weekend I set myself a challenge - lose weight before September 6th so I can wear some of my too tight clothes, or I'm throwing them all out. Sunday I took everything out of the cupboard and couldn't believe how many brand new ones I didn't even know I had were there. Let alone all the misfitsso because I don't have any birthdays until December, I'm going to concentrate on this.

Morning everyone
Mary - hope OH is a bit better today, you are doing so well coping, I am sure I wouldnt have done so well and kept a smile on my face xx
Anglea - Good luck with the weight loss, sounds like a good thing to have a go at and may be those clothes will soon be fitting you xx
Susan - YD was glad to get home, wasn't the best of hols but she is back with her BF again so happy now that is all sorted out. Her birthday today so she was up early opening her presents. Is now in the bath using all her new toiletries then she is off out with BF later as he has a surprise for her.
My niece's birthday is in a few days so I need to get up the post office today and post her present off. Want to get OH's birthday card as well and may be some wrapping paper so I can get his presents wrapped as his and GD's birthday next (both on same day in August).
ED rang yesterday to ask if I want to have a stall at a Summer Fare but its on OH's birthday so YD is going to do it (as long as there are some stalls left). I gave her a lot of bits I had made which are low cost items like purses, pin cushions, phone cases, hanging hearts and birds, that kind of thing plus I have dug out all the hand made cards I have left over (shoe box full) from when I used to do them and a lot of card making kits and supplies. She is going away again a few days after the sale so would give her some pocket money if she sells anything.0 -
Morning everyone.
I seem to be reading but not posting lately, so I thought I'd post today, to say I'm still here.
Fedup - how are you hun? Long time no see. I was asking about you last month, but I couldn't for the life of me remember your username, but I knew it began with an F. I'm so forgetful.
Mary - thinking of you and OH. What are we going to do with you both?I hope this is all sorted now and Bill makes a full recovery.
Much love to everyone else. xxxI :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Hello all :j
Thanks for all the lovely ''hugs'' -much needed.
Angela - not so much a secret code with nannyboo but when I made more cards than I do now I asked the girls on the card making thread to wear ''knickers inside out'' (heard it was lucky)for OH.....or wear anything inside out really. Not sure if works but I've had mine inside out for a while now........mind you could be just me putting them on without thinking during one of the many 'senior moments'.........lol
Covered two tubs (not gravy ones) earlier this year but thats as far as I got. List of ''stuff '' I want to do,. just getting my mind focused on it.
Rang hospital last night and OH had some soup and fruit but there were problems with his breathing. He's making progress they said but it could still go ''one way or the other'' -too scared to ask what she really meant.
This morning still breathing problems so hes got oxygen mask on -different one to yesterday. Im going in tonight so might know more then.
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
