Mary - I know what you mean with other people. you wait forever for them to do things for you. I`m the opposite, if someone asks for something i do it straight away so i dont forget...lol. you take care and try not to get toooo stressed xx

mum2 one - where you gone? lol xx

Thats so freaky, was only thinking about earlier, its not been good couple of weeks, were fighting this custody saga, and not helping the health, come out in nervous excezma, - now means can't go for hydrothearpy sessions for knee. Give up. Were due back in court 19th May.

Think still recovering from the hols, we had 2012 brochere come through the post, Miss Hoodie was the 1st to it, Las vegas, Tunisia, Florida have all got pages turned down, and she was not amused they hadn't got the hotel we'd just got back from.......

she was so funny tonight, we went to see an Abba tribute show, running about 5 mins late, and when it started quite loudly she said finally,,,,, the woman sat by us just howled laughing. xx

Hello all, not read back but wanted to say hello :) DH went into hospital a couple of weeks ago, he collapsed and dislocated and broke his shoulder so is having daily physio following surgery to repair it. So it's manic here plus they still don't know why he collapsed but has more and worse symptoms :(

Anyway, will look back for the challenge at some point and will catch up soon. :) and :( as appropriate and :grouphug: all round.

Oh heck, hope hubb goes on ok, and they get to the bottom of it all, are you and junior suganspun ok? xx

    Hello all :j
Rain last night so hopefully a few wilting plants might pick up now. Think its too late for poor old eucalyptus tree-think the cold winter put paid to it. Now the wisteria seems to be wilting and not well at all..........need a bit more of the wet stuff.

mum2one - I'm thinking the shower and stairlift will end up as a christmas pressie from the council............lol That's unless 'legislation changes' as they mention in they're letter. I'm hanging on in there anyway. -best of luck with the court case:)

OH doing a proper roast dinner today........dragged joint of pork out the freezer, roast potatos and veg.....I could never have bent down to put the pork in the oven !! He used to do the cooking (better at it than me.......lol) and it does him good to do what he feels is ''normal'' things. I tried to pot on couple of the begonias yesterday and it was all I could do to bend down for the compost so the rest can wait for someone more able bodied. So frustrating not being able to do what should be so simple so it was back to the knitting..........lol;)

Little grandsons birthday is in June......need ideas on what to get him thats cheap and postable.:)

    Hope you're all ok:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Just while I thought of it, cashback for Vistaprint is £7.07 at the mo on topcashback, what I did was go back through previous orders, put the "free item" in the basket, then edited it from there to get the design I wanted,
free tshirt, free pen, free notebook, half price keyring, with postage £8.16, but I wanted the items anyhow, so anycashback is a bonus.

Don't know what anyone elses weather is like, its chucking down and been thundering really heavily... xx

It's been a mixed bag today. Really hot sunshine, then pitch black clouds, HAILSTONES and thunder and lightening. I wish it would make it's mind up!

Thanks for the tip about Vista Mum2one. I have that on my 'to do' list for tomorrow. :)

I'm thinking of you RE the court case. I have my fingers crossed that it will go ok. ;) Try and not let things get on top of you, easier said than done I know though. ;)

I hope your mum and dad, and miss hoodie are OK, and you of course. Please take care.

I hope Mary is ok too = it's not like her not to pop in.

Thanks Elysia for the heads up...i`ll check that out

Mum2one - i keep forgetting printy place, i`ll check that out later today after I take the disabled outing out.

I also goto go to radley discount store, when my mate was up from wales last week she bought a purse and she wants another for her mum so I have to go and collect one for her. FAB discounts there and I want to check out the bag mum2one said about that goes over your shoulder and hangs in front of you. Had a Fab pair of sunglasses from there for my birthday reduced to £14...great for radley.

mary - gosh those councils are slow. Have you other services know some do rush things through sometimes. They did for my neighbours, sure it had something to do with councillors. Mind you sometimes I think they have everything quick, it might just be me. I found my mum waited donkeys before she got anything, then they went to give her a hand rail. I told them not to worry as I had sorted out that, a stair lift, wheelchair, scooter and walker all in a week. Had to buy second hand but it took a year for them to offer anything. She was in hospital and needed all the things to come out

Anyhow I`m off to do a summer craft fair saturday - only for a couple of hours and OH is the salesman, carrier, dogsbody, I`m just going to sit and relax:rotfl: never done a summer fair before, I did a christmas one which I enjoyed. Have made a few things but not at all sure about them. See how it goes. I must remember to take some pictures when I`m there

Morning all hark at you two on here half the night lol, I was tucked up in bed by that time. I hope Mary is ok too, she usually pops on every afternoon. Didnt do much in the day yesterday, made a couple of bags out of some recycled curtains that I hope to put on my shop one of these days. Cant get on with the cushion covers as waiting on the zips coming.

My bro knocked last night with the last of the message squares for Dad's quilt so I made a start and embroidered one of those last night while tv was on. Have four more to do and then I can finish assembling the top of the quilt.

I need to get on with the other denim quilt too, have the squares cut out but was waiting for some neutral coloured fabrics to decorate them with first but have some now so can make a start on that too.

I am also doing a cushion each for both of my daughters as extra Xmas pressie. Saw a lovely saying in a magazine the other day on one of these locket/pendant things you can buy for £25 a month or some such price out of my league. The pendant was lovely but it was the saying that I liked most so thought of doing a cushion instead. Not sure what picture to do on the other side yet but I have lots of scraps of red fabric so thought may be hearts and their name or something similar, may be some flowers too.

My son's away in Tenerife for the week, its his birthday this month but I have his card and present, got him some t-shirts (I always seem to get him t-shirts lol).

Next month is bro's 60th, have his present but need to get him a 60 card, might do that today when I go up town later as I got a card the other day just a brother one and forgot to get a special one.

Youngest daughter needs some tights and also all her friends mums have bought them high top trainers so she needs a pair too, good job I have enough money put by as thought there would be something coming up before long. She got her NI card couple of days ago so we told her to go and see if she can find a weekend job or even a holiday job for the summer hols. Not sure if she still has to wait until her 16th birthday before she can work, not until middle of July, or whether she can work as soon as she got her card. Anyone know?

Off to catch up on other thread, Rufus xx
