CDsmiler - welcome back, glad you got your tent. It wasnt car that broke down it was the MH, it in garage now and when it comes out has to go to caravan place to fix water leak:eek:. As regards my new car it never turned up, but the excuses were mad. First they lost the car after bragging they could track it by computer. Then they lost the man who knew where the car was , he still havent turned up after a week so dont know where he`s gone.
Then they said it had a fault even though they dont know where it is and then got told the engineer going to Liverpool to sort it and it would take two weeks. They havent found it yet so dont know what will happen next. But I cancelled it, i been waiting for weeks for it, I`m glad i did because i`ve heard since theres no end of trouble with them:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Rufus - sorry to hear bout exMIL, hope she gets well soon

Hello all :j
Pleased to say today things seem normal -well as normal as they can be here................lol
OH slept all night with no problems and went off for his bone density scan. He's lost weight.......not surprising really as neither of us have been eating the same as we would normally
Gardening chap came up and did a bit more clearing of space so I might be able to work out what will go where............cleaner came and took me shopping -spent too much but what the heck.
Feel a bit worn out now as always but loved the fact I got out of the house for half hour if only to do shopping.
Easy dinner tonight.......some sort of fish cakes with cheesy sauce in them, salad and new potatoes stuffed with garlic butter.........yummy !
susan - thanks for the hugs............needed them lately. Felt so depressed what with OH being up and down to the loo one way or the other, ringing GP's, worrying obviously, plus what seemed like endless waiting for folk to do what they said they'd do (clearing garage/shed, garden, building quote etc.)
garage and shed cleared, garden still ''work in progress'' and building quote..........still waiting:mad:
My friend phoned a little while ago -she's got far far worse problems than I have so I've quickly counted my blessings -forgotten I had so many.........:)
So, all is well (sort of)Hope you're all ok:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hello all :j
esmer - I've just gone a strange shade of 'green':D -envy I think they call it.........lol Love your house -so tidy ! You should see mine:eek: Mind you I am one of those people who love ''stuff''..............gaps on the walls must have something on, corners can't be empty etc...........lol
susan -I tend to be a bit like that......do it straight away or as soon as is possible .........maybe thats why I expect everyone else to be the same.........lol
Well everything here is ok -OH has gone off to the pub so he can see someone other than me and he says he'll do dinner -easy peasy......co-op had an offer of curry meals so its chicken ticka masala, some sort of rice and naan bread.........he'll chuck some salad on a side plate as well. My back ached so much yesterday -aftermath of Thursday shopping, plus up and down the garden looking at the ''work in progress'' (or not!) then dinner then later OH wanted a sandwich.........still I'm pleased he's got his appetite back.
Was so fed up last week I ordered 45 plants for £1 (grabbit board) -they arrived this morning -begonias........never had them before -heck, what do you do with them.........such tiny plants but some have got flowers on. They'll have to go with the small evergreens I got a while back that are still waiting for a raised bed they can call ''home''. Half a mind to try and put them in some sort of pot myself.........maybe with a stool and a trowel I can do it..............ooops ! Just started to rain:( so maybe not !
Letter from the council about grant.........be 'at least 3 months' (they underlined that bit) before they come and do survey then we have to wait till they draw up plans and send them to us for approval and proper application forms to complete.(They've already had a form with finance details on -maybe they think we've won the lottery since then........lol) Do they do this to put people off and hope that maybe we'll say we can't wait and have it done ourselves I wonder ?
Well, no way..............I'll wait even if its Christmas before its done.
Bit of rain this morning but nothing to shout about........we're due a downpour tomorrow it seems. Might save me throwing jugs of water over wilting little plants.
So, all it sort of normal in our household............:)
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Afraid to say theres duplicates, tripulates, different departments, sometimes you want to scream if the left knew what the right was doing, I know ours took a while to get all sorted, - going through the paperwork earlier, as starilift was yr old in April, when it was fitted that was when they started all the applications for the bathrm, originally should have been Nov, it was us that changed it to April this yr, it all coz of the grants etc. it sounds daft but really don't know how the heck we managed with the old bathroom. Def be worth it in the end. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
