Hello all:j
rufus - think the first lot of physio must have done some good..........couldn't walk when I came out of hospital in January but I can now............not far I know but I can do a lot more than I used to be able to. Maybe it's just perseverance. I feel I have to keep going to physio -only got a few more sessions of it so I'm told.
OH had letter from hospital today about his MRI scan for next week and I managed to eventually get through to transport to arrange it for him. Then hospital phoned about a back brace  OH couldn't remember anything being said about that so they've said they'll wait till he's seen consultant on Wednesday and see if he feels its still needed.
Hes getting all this 'gold star' attention.........crikey....I was just told my bones were like sponge cake and sent on my way.....:(
Cleaner took me to co-op for my little bit of exercise.........well a lot really. Recliner chair was delivered this morning and now OH says he wants one.Rang the shop and they'd still got the other one in so thats arriving tomorrow.
So that'll be two old armchairs stuck down our drive !
The 'man with a van' who said he'd shift the rubbish came round to say he can't do it this weekend:mad: (how many weekends has he told me that???) so think I'll ring the council to take them............mind you, that normally takes them about 3 weeks ! Oh eck.............why doesn't life run smoothly....................lol:) I feel these things only happen to me but I'm sure they dont. (Think we'll get a skip!)
On top of that cleaner is here for two more weeks then she's off to Maldova for 6 weeks, something to do with her OH's work. She's going to ask around for someone to take her place till she comes back otherwise she'll need a shovel to get in the front door....................lol:rotfl:
Oh dear.........I do sound a bit ''woe is me''....it really isn't though.
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi all,
I found physio didnt work for me either rufus / mary
I did try an oesteopath, when it was extreme, he charged £30 and wow did it hurt when he did it, but helped me walk about somemore. He then retired and I went to two others but they wasnt the same
I just packed my visitors off, they came up for 4 days. I feel as if I havent slept for 4 days. Thats not right, I`m not tired, just worn out:o
Hi esmer - wb, glad the house move went ok and your settling in. Dont over do it now mind. Rome wasnt built in as day ...:DChallenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
Hello all :j
Hope you all enjoyed the 'wedding' -well those who watched it. I just saw the main part, service and such then it was back to the knitting...........lol
OH now has his recliner so the sofa's full of endless cushions that were propping him up.........never realised I had so many..............lol Serious sorting out to be done.
susan -went to an osteopath many years ago........expensive, it hurt and my back carried on hurting. About two or three years ago I went to an aromatherapist in town..........she was very good but £25 a go and 6 sessions  Mind you, have to say it did work. I get a bit scared to try anything that hospital hasn't recommended in case I do more damage to my back..........last thing I need.
Visitors for 4 days susan......no wonder your tired/worn out..........so would I be. Just take it easy now.:)
OH was promised a lift into town today that didn't materialise -now he's fretting about how to put his lottery on...............lol I'm sure someone will turn up before the deadline. The fact he's so bored doesn't help. Wish he had a hobby of some sort.........he's even resorted to watching snooker..............lol:rotfl:
Well, off to see what else is happening in the 'virtual world'
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

4 days of visitors - you must be a saint, I can just cope when Miss Hoodie has a sleepover - hope you can get some rest over the next few days xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
mary - "aromatherapist in town..........she was very good but £25 a go and 6 sessions " wow, thats seems very expensive
Mum2one - not a saint lol, I love visitors. It gives me a chance to cook and plan days out and I really enjoy it - but I get so worn out.
Well I watched a little bit of the wedding - the highlights at the end and shed a tear :rotfl:
I also been doing some crafting. Have spent the best part of 24 hours making a gift bag and a box....:o Theres nothing in them but thought they work out so expensive, I`ll make my own....the hours put in them they be worth it in the end. I wanted my Sil SD to cut them out so been fiddling making them the sizes I wanted. They`re saved now though so the next ones should take minutes.
I`ll blog them when I find out where I put my camera....:(Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
Hello all :j
mum2one - oh what a numpty I am.......hadn't thought of doing it online...........lol:rotfl:
He got a taxi to the pub today just to get out of the house and stick tonights lottery on.............lol
susan -I know it was expensive but I was desparate at the time........could hardly walk or stand up and I think I'd have done anything to get right again
Well, having a bit of a ''fed up'' day -seem to be having a lot of them lately........must snap out of it !
Fed up with waiting for garden chappie to finish off what he started, waiting for chap to shift rubbish like he said he would, chemist wouldn't deliver OH's prescription and they know we can't get there (OH got taxi to stop off on way to pub in the end)
and course, fed up with the state of us both. Really must get out of it and see positive things to it all.............hard to think of any at the minute.
Oh I'll go before I rant on some more................lol
Sorry for being a misery..............I will smile !!!:D
Must count my blessings...........there's no end of them really...................:)
Hope you're all ok and the weather's good. We've got sunshine but a cold easterly wind:) (see -I'm smiling............lol)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Sounds like you've been busy Mrs Moneypenny. I love cross stitching but haven't done any for ages. I feel inspired to find my stuff and stitch something
I've just done another Vista order. I wanted a mug for my nephew but often that makes the postage go to £6ish. I followed the advice I saw on here and added the light weight things first - the keyring then the pen. Then I added the notecards and mug and postage was £3.70, much happier with thatMaking money for Christmas 2012!0 -

Well done Nicky, I didnt manage to get mine to go to that, all my last lot of orders were about £5 for pp before they added the tax on. Will have to try it again that way, must have been putting them in the wrong order, not that I have many more to buy for now xx0
