Hello all :j
Lovely day again Been round to neighbours trying out her recliner garden chairs -had nearly ordered some and glad I didn't now. Bit too low for me. I'm better off in 'normal' height ones. Got some green plastic ones we've had a while and I think they'll do for the wild life garden when I think about it. Just need a little table to put there with them.
I've bought a wooden bench, two chairs and table but not put it up yet. Need to get some proper cushions for it and thinking I could sit on the bench with my feet up............bliss............lol
Still debating on scooter............got a few more days to make my mind up.
OH is thinking I'm not ready for that sort of thing yet (lack of confidence etc.) and can't get it in and out of the house without ramp and it would have to live in the kitchen till the builder gets around to doing the downstairs loo and changing our battered garage doors over to bricked up front and a sort of shed door.
Mucked my e mail thing up:eek: Don't know whats wrong with it but according to it I don't exist.............lol Tried using my yahoo e mail to let folk know who regularly e mail me and got a returned one this morning -says the person I sent it too doesn't have a yahoo account thats why it was returned !! Don't understand it at all.
Oh and how do I find out who my 'server' is ? Is that BT who I've got account with or is it Internet Explorer or what ??? I'm such a muppet when it comes to all this sort of thing..............think I might need to get a little man out..............lol:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

HELP
I been asked to do a church fair on the 15th May. I did know provisionally last week about it and was dithering.
Now they begged and being a softy I said ok.
But horrors, what do you make for a summer fair. My mind has gone completely blank. Any help would be great .....:D
I`ll post over on the sister thread too, see if elysia picks it upChallenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
Mary - just go for it with the scooter. Just because you don't feel able to use it now, it doesn't mean you'll always feel like it. My mum has had one for two years, and only used it a handful of times, but it's there if she needs it. We're waiting for the date of her knee replacement at the moment, so it will be needed and used lots shortly.
Mum2one - I'm so glad you're both back safe and sound.I had to pop around, and see if it went well. Phot's look amazing - I'm so jealous. LOL. I'm not really, I'm not a good flier, any more than a couple of hours on a plane is more than enough for me. I've been on holiday this week (caravan in cornwall LOL) I broke my tooth on the last day too. Must be something in the air.
Thanks to everyone for posting and keeping the thread going - I know what you mean Rufus - I was so sad to see the Money one fade away last year, and that's why I asked to take it over. I try and post more often, but it's hard. I did well at the beginning of the year for presents, but haven't bought any for ages.
I'll be back tomorrow, for the challenge - I desperately need to do them - I've been neglecting it all lately.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

susan - thanks. Now just have to work out what I type in -whether it's bt broadband or something else.............lol Oh lor, then there's a bloomin' password ....got one I log on with and one I got when computer was all set up with user name which was e mail address and password I've got.
elysia - I'll have to persuade OH about scooter now and try it round the kitchen again -can't get out till I get a ramp at the back door anyway.
Think OH is thinking not just of the cost -its £80 -but then there's cost of adding on thing to put my walking sticks in and basket for the front.....he is a wittler..............lolI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

£80 thats amazing, the price they go for in the mobility shops at 2nd hand are average £300 to £400.
The top tip I would say is get an over the body handbag, that way hook it over your head and keeps it safe from being in a basket, or hanging, I loose track over the amount of people I see when out and they have handbag lose in the front basket.
Once you've been out a couple of times feel like 2nd nature. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Thanks Susan, I have tried it your way and hope it tracks ok as a bit costly if it doesnt just for cards and return address stickers with a free pen and some sticky notes. Will look nicer though than just writing it on. It came up in the cart as free; postage and tax brought it up to just under £8. Not long ago we were getting things for about £3.50 ish.
Supposed to be another hot day. I have a bit more sewing to do as I picked up some more squares off my family yesterday to sew for my Dad's quilt. Will see if I can get all the jobs done this morning and then I can sit out side this afternoon and stitch them.0 -
I hope the sun shines for you Rufus - it's a bit cloudy/smoggy here today. Hopefully it will burn off, and this afternoon will be nice, but it didn't happen yesterday, it stayed like this all day.
Mary - that is an excellent bargain. Even if you don't use it, buy it and you can sell it on for more money.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

rufus - i always do the pen first as it weighs the least, I go through quidco or TCB then pick the pen, go all the way through to the postage bit and then leave that window open minimised. I then use all the emails for free things, one at a time , and then when I have my 4 free things, go back to the original pen one and refresh the page. All items in free and postage looks good. Its a bit of trial and error I think, as I can never work out what their postage is....
Elysia - Thanks for the listits F.A.B, I`m going to crack on a bit today if I can , (if I get off here) lol
Mary - I agree with mum2one that a fantastic price. You could always buy it and if you really cant get on with it, sell it and not lose any money....wow
mum2one - hope you`ve avoided the jet lag and havent had the blues since having such a brilliant holiday...Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0
