    SAFEWAY

Thank you for your recent enquiry.

I can confirm that Safeway policy regarding the acceptance of coupons, including Internet coupons, is as follows.

We accept valid date suppliers’ coupons for the purpose of merchandise, provided, that Safeway offer product from the named supplier.

???A customer may redeem no more than six identical coupons from one supplier, unless he or she is actually purchasing the named product in quantities in excess of 6.   :o

see  now  I take that as I can give in 6 condom £2 off coupons without actually buying the condoms  unless I hand 7 coupons in  then I need to buy one pack of condoms

or is that me being thick???

cathy I gave in 5 condom £2 vouchers in tesco and they took them
I didn't have to buy any

maybe someone could contact all the stores again for their policy on coupons

Lawnmower man had his email answers some time ago and they may have changed their policies
especially with so many moneysavers going in with handfuls of coupons

we may be victims of our own success

Has anyone else had the problem I have had redeeming vouchers at ASDA? I have been advised on more than one occasion that they will only accept vouchers to the value of up to 10% of your shop there. So in other words if you spent £10, they would only accept vouchers up to the value of £1.

However, I have found it to be true at Tesco that if you head for the dumbest, youngest male checkout person, they will put the vouchers straight through - the other day my target checkout person even accepted a crisps voucher which was out of date.
