Thanks for advice - can now delete individual messages. Still don't like having threads for texts - tricky to find the most recent texts that way.
Eh? They're in date order. Threads with the newest messages are at the top.

Yes... I know but its not in the same way as my old phone - was just so much easier as listed individual texts in date order now it links all the texts in one thread but they're not necessarily related - give me another week and I'll get used to it I'm sure!

On the San Francisco is there a setting I can change to stop certain numbers from texting/calling me?
I have looked on the phone and googled but found nothing.

    Thanks

No, that is something you would need to set up with your air-time provider, assuming, of course, that they have the facility for blocking individual numbers (never heard of it myself)

Search for some app. I guess something like 'block', 'black list', 'textblock',...

    Just to clarify.
I don't think you can stop receiving the texts. I guess you can make the phone ignoring them.

    1) How reliable is it? Does it freeze or crash at all?

    2) If you put Android 2.2 or 2.3 on it does it work better? I've heard that putting 2.3 on the latest ones isnt very easy?

    Hi all,
Just bought an Orange San Francisco which will be here on Tuesday, and was wondering what the best apps you would recommend?

Gaming and useful apps are fine, and an app which would help if I lost my phone would definitely be needed.

    Thank you in advance!
