Happy New Year!!

Well, had a lovely New Year but very hungover yesterday and festered all day. Mate was great, very easy to entertain and was happy to eat loads and lie under a throw for most of the day!
Back to work today and had a serious case of the post festive blues. Absolutely fine now, just feeling a bit flat.
Got organised today to start the diet tomorrow. Bought some seeds and veggies and have made soup and roasted the sunflower seeds ready to fling them in things. Need to sort dinner for tomorrow but can do that when I get home as the shops were open funny hours and needed to get breakfast and lunch sorted first.
Have overspent a bit this week but am still on track generally. X'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Morning all, will declare money stuff later (YUCK, YUCK) but just had a nice South Beach brekkie of leftover smoked salmon and some natural yoghurt with seeds. Need to shop a bit more later but can make my list at work and pick it up on my way home. Going to look at some survey sites and bits tonight as I want to carry on with this this year and get some vouchers from it. Enjoy your days off all!!!'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Morning, Souk
I generally feel very flat after all the excitement of the festivities but this year I don't. I think it's the positive attitude I have gained through the Secret and the matrix. The year feels full of hope and excitement! What's wrong with me?????:exclamati
I made soup yesterday and still need to menu plan for the rest of the week. I'm trying to think positive on the weight front and I am eating as though I am my ideal weight. I threw out the leftover choccy bikkies - yes, really - and last night 'dealt with' 4 remaining mint chocs. Well at least they're not around any more to tempt me and I did need something to get me through writing up some committee minutes!!!
Have a good day

:rotfl:Thanks Sue

Have just signed up for Ipsos (thanks you know who) and taken part in a Lightspeed survey and have a £5 Amazon voucher waiting to be used too.
Feel much cheerier now and have eaten some nice stuff today. Aldi was closing as I attempted to run in after work so need to do that and a few other bits tomorrow. They are:
Food shop
Buy cards for Dad and Bro's bday
Buy sports stuff for Dad's bday
Recycle all festive wine bottles :eek::eek:
Pick up boots from the reheeling man
Look at JJB for trainers to spend vouchers from work on.
I decided today that I would run a local 10K in the summer in aid of the hospice where my cousins hubby died. Called her to tell her and she is very chuffed. Just need to get organised to do it now!!! Getting the trainers free will be a boost and I can pick up a sports bra later in the month and crack on when the weather is better. Always feel a right lazy cow when everyone else is doing it and there's no reason for it really. Going to swim/walk in the morning too and get started with the fitness regime. :A
In money news, some !!!!!! tried to scam my Paypal account today  but Paypal twigged and blocked it all and are investigating it. My bank is okay and have done some password changing tonight. Fuming though as it has taken ages. I have £30 in my purse to last til Thursday. This is okay as I just need to retrieve my boots and get a few bits for Dad tomorrow and this should cover it. My grocery spend is a whopping £24.28 already which is not like me but the diet is expensive as have to buy loads of fresh stuff. So long as it works I don't mind too much. Going to bed soon before I eat anything :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Hey all, NOT going for a swim this morning as I forgot the schools are still off and it will be heaving as it's a wet day. That will have to start later in the week.
Going to get moving and do all my other bits for today X'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Hi all well today I managed most of my list:
Food shop DONE
Buy cards for Dad and Bro's bday DONE
Buy sports stuff for Dad's bday DONE
Recycle all festive wine bottles :eek::eek: DONE
Pick up boots from the reheeling man WILL DO TOMORROW
Look at JJB for trainers to spend vouchers from work on. DONE - BOUGHT SOME
Trainers only cost me £4.99 as I used my voucher and I got great advice from a lovely guy in the sports shop . I also bought dad a hoody thing and a polo shirt for excercising in for his bday. These cost £12 and £7 but [STRIKE]my brother[/STRIKE] Mum will give me the £7. Bought 2 cards in M and S for Dad and bro's bday too which are nice and means I am organsied for once for my bro's at the end of the month.
Also bought some more food. SOOOOOO expensive to eat this way and am now up to £45.42 spent!!!! Had to buy ham, peppers, fish, chicken, cottage cheese, tea, sweetener and various other bits today. Did get a bargain in T*esco as there was some yellow stickered fish going when I went in.
I did eat quite healthily before with lots of veg etc but also filled up on lots of carbs. Think once I'm off the diet I'll need to look at doing a bit of both to keep the weight off.
Doing smoked haddock for tea which I love and then think my gay husband is coming over later. May also sort some of my CD's tonight if I can be bothered. They are tucked away under the bed but need looking at at some point.
