Glad the funeral went well, never easy

And I can't think of a better way to end today than spending it with a gay chum on the vino :T:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Well so far I have spent £61.02 on food for the month  and it's only the 9th. This is horrific and means I will also need to take money from the spendy budget for food. I hope to tighten up and only spend another £20 on food so I will still then have £50 for next week and £65 for the one after.
Have £7 in my purse for now and hope that will do til Thursday.
Will be in work late tomorrow anyway as we have a staff meeting and then on Tuesday I'm travelling for a work meeting again so no socialising to fund til next weekend. Just thinking as the meeting on Tuesday is longer than usual and I wont be home til 10pm I can probably claim for a few deli bits through expenses as if I wasn't on the diet I'd buy something at the station so that might get me a few pounds back. :j
I also have £2.50 worth of Nectar points which I can use too and have some food in.
Had a bit of a sore head today after the night out but it was fab! Haven't even had a shower today . My mate stayed til 2ish and we drank tea and had a fester and then I made chilli and my other 2 mates came round for more tea and a chat. Really nice day. Just watching Dancing on Ice tonight and then I'll have an early night.'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -

Sounds like a lovely weekend. Shame about the budget but it will balance itself out eventually. It is always hard when starting a new regime until you get the feel for it.
Love the idea of a piece a month. Might steal that. Do socks count? Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Not to me cheri. I only buy cheap socks and tights etc so if I need them I just buy them!'The road to a friends house is never long'0

My food spend seems to have racked up recently too and I'm not sure why. I think that prices are going up by a few pence here and there so you don't notice as much but means the bills are going up by pounds each time.Well so far I have spent £61.02 on food for the month  and it's only the 9th. I think food is dearer FF but my bill is up due to the diet. Tis expensive to eat like this X'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Food is definitely going up. I used to be able to get 4 pomegranites for £1 and this weekend they were £1 each!! Diet food always seems more expensive because you are cooking from scratch. Can you batch cook things to make the pennies go further? Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. I can't on this phase of the diet Cheri due to the restrictions. I do normally though and have made a chilli for this phase but that's as much as I can do to keep costs down. In normal months I do all my food shopping on about £60 and eat really well so no complaints on that front really, just need to get this belly away! X'The road to a friends house is never long'0
