    Hi y'all

    Well some good news here.

I went for my 1st walk/run today for the 10K. Found a training plan on t'internet and got out there in my fancy new sports bra and trainers! VERY unfit but will do the next stages on Thursday and Sunday and away I go!

Also I have got a free ticket for We Will Rock You for Thursday. :j:j:j Going with a friend of a friend and might have something to eat/drink 1st too.

Have to confess to hoovering up a few Xmas chocs last night  Didn't need them just knew they were there and I'm off the strict phase and scoffed them. Took all my own food with me on the train yesterday though and back on it today. Threw the rest of the Xmas chocs in the bin so they are no longer a temptation and need to buy a few bits later at the supermarket. Going to view a flat near a Morrisons for my bro later so will have a wee look there while I'm in the area for a wee change. Money is tight but should be okay and lots of socialising later in the week which is grand. Should have two free meals this week as two friends are taking me back out (I took them out/had them at me in December) so that's a boost as it gets me out for not much cash.

Need to shower and get ready for this viewing. My bro and his boyf can't decide what they are doing re flats and are SOOOOO slow so I may return rather frustrated!!!! Later X

well done on the running Souk. I have to admit to always promising to start running but convince myself that it is too dark at the moment. I can promise you that come the light nights I will decide that I dont want anyone to see me :) Any tips on how to overcome the excuses? By the way I also convince myself that I need a running bra but cant afford one.

Link fixed now girlies! Cheri I just thought this morning 'right get on with it' and did it!

Bro cancelled the viewing as they decided they didn't like the area so just went to my local fish man for some rainbow trout and Aldi for a few more bits and posted my top that I sold on ebay.

Need to add up grocery spends but am scared...they are high!

  • well done Souk! have to agree with the "just get on with it"!

I am about to do the same with some chocolates.

also great that you were so organised taking all your food on the train - that is something I always mean to do.

We Will Rock You sounds fab - even better if it's free! enjoy! :j

Thanks ladies. I am going to schedule in my exercise from now on into my diary so that it's like an appointment (who else does this with things she wants to do? I think it's Cheery Daff). Think this will help me with my goals in general if I do this.

Have just watched Julie and Julia as I didn't take it the other day in the end. Tis great and has inspired me to do a lot more with food. I am going to start a new meal plan for Feb when I'm off the diet and include some new stuff in it. My freezer is playing at the mo so that's a help!
