Breathe easy Souk,
my smugness was short lived as by 2.30 today I had already overtaken your budget
.
It was nice while it lasted & gives me something to aim for again, one day
Happy weekend yourself

Souk I love the idea of sitting down and meal planning with the aid of Nigella, will definitely be stealing this one for next month!

have a fab weekend x0 -
Right, so after a loooong old month my pay is now in my account. :j:j:j Also Mummy gave me £20 today for my train up and down to her and Dad's for the weekend and bought me £20 worth of shopping which will be a great help.
After ALL my outgoings are out including rent, haircut, CT, Electric, glasses, contacts, Lovefilm and also my £60 food budget is off I have:
£65 to spend each week
£25 to spend on work shoes as my old ones are looky tatty
and £10 to spend on toiletries.
I have a haircut booked for tomorrow, which is budgeted for and I need to do a bit of shopping too. I will go to Savers for toiletries and M and S for my shoes.
Pretty chuffed with this budget.
Plans for the week are:
Monday: Dinner with team
Tuesday/Wednesday: Away with work. Meetings/training and nice dinner
Thursday: Working the late shift
Sat: Friend for deinks after work
Sunday: Booked for a cheap lunch in a posh place with my gay friend. We're going to do this once a month!
So, all good. X'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
You're doing brilliantly & that looks like a nice week ahead of you,
enjoy

Lovely coat!
And have a great week - looking good so far xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Lovely page this, on your diary! I do like M&S online, their videos of the clothes are a really good touch - and that coat is fab.
As is Nigella meal planning and your budget and plans for this week - this is my new goal!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
All sounds positive - I'm trying to have a positive head on this week

Ok so shoes bought, hair cut, shopping done :j
and I have £57 to spend this week left.
Toiletry spend ended up at £11.54
Household bits were £2.64 (halogen bulbs and freezer bags)
I gave the hairdresser a £2 tip and for some unknown reason I put £3 on a Tesco savings card whilst in my big Tesco buying green tea and such things. I don't like Tesco but can always use it for a mag or wine when I'm skint.
My haircut was £16 at the training school and is very nice.
I will confess to buying a second pair of shoes but they are not the right colour for my dress so will go back for cash next week so I wont count them.
Off out for dinner soon and then away early tomorrow with work and got some packing to do so if I don't get on later, enjoy the start of your week all and XXX'The road to a friends house is never long'0
