Well, had planned a night in on Wed but a friend came into my shop at closing and we went to the pub instead.

£16.60 later  we had finished nattering on!!!

Last night I went out with some friends but only spent £5.30 on a few drinks.:beer::beer:

It all adds up though so here's the money situ:

I have £22.60 in my purse and £65 in the bank and I get paid on the 28th  so I'm going to draw another tenner today and the £32.60 is to last me til next Sat.

All I am doing this week is going out for lunch and dinner at two friends houses today and having a friend over for a 'Celebrate being single' dinner on Monday. Spends will be train tickets and some £3 flowers today and food and wine for Monday. I never take entertaining food out of the grocery budget so that's seperate. I have M and S wine in the fridge which I'll give to my dinner friend today and the flowers can go to the lunch one.

Next weekend is my weekend off so am off to Edinburgh on the Sat to see Flying Fressian for lunch and do a gallery or two. Galleries are free and I have £15 somthing in my cultural pot so I'll add that to the £55 left in the bank to give me £70 going into the last week of the month. :j Going to Mum and Dads on that Sun/Monday and they always give me my train fare and a bit extra so a tad tight but okay all in.

Grocery wise I have £17.49 left which SHOULD be okay if I meal plan properly and don't go mad. I should have an extra tenner in this but spent it in the pub the other night:shhh: and can probably do without it. I have some fish and chicken in the freezer and lots of sauces, pasta etc so I'll survive.

This being a social butterfly is an expensive business!!!

    Thanks all.

    Well yesterdays spends were:

£7.00 in Aldi for flowers and wine for lunchtime friend
£2.40 on tube fares to/from lunchtime friend
£5.99 for a top for dinner friends son (from Baby Gap, on sale)
£2.40 train fare to dinner friend
£3 for taxi from train to house of dinner friend

so of the £32.60 I had for the week I now have £11 left . Had a fab day though and both friends were in good form.

Have decided to use some salmon from my freezer as the basis of my meal for my friend on Monday to save me spending too much. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I have a Nigella recipe which I can do with a bit of cous cous and just buy some wine and either bake or buy a cheap pud.

On the subject of recipes Hypno recommended a book called Meals in Heels for us glamourous sorts. I popped on to my mysurveyaccount to see what the situation was and I had more points than i thought so ordered it from Amazon and it only cost me £1.27 after I had redeemed a voucher :j:j:j

I am VERY lazy at doing my surveys but this goes to show what nice treats I can have if I can be arised to do them now and again.

Flying Fresian has reminded me that it is free listing this weekend so must list a few bits before work tomorrow. Even a spare tenner would be handy.
My friend who I was with last night has now decided that we must dine with her again next Saturday so i'll see her after Edinburgh and will have to buy yet more booze

Very tired tonight so came home from work, had a lovely dinner and a bath and then did a survey with Radio 2 on. It's crazy here!:rotfl:

Have been eating lots of different things lately as I was in a real rut before I did the diet and have to see I'm really enjoying it. Just lazyness before. Had chicken breast with chorizo and a homemade tomato salsa thing with some rocket and rice tonight and tomorrow is a tuna affair in basil with the rest of the rice and rocket. Monday will be the salmon thing and then Tuesday is my day off so I'll go to either the fishman or the butcher then. might be sick of the sight of fish by then :D but I do love it and tis very good for you.

Right so money stands at £11 in the purse and £13.54 left of grocery budget (though only spent £36.46 on groceries, remember that £10 spent in the pub!!!) so not too bad.

Have a glossy mag and library books to read, a few Greys Anatomy episodes to watch thanks to Lovefilm and plenty of food in so wont need to spend much anyway X

Hey all, spent just over a fiver on food for tomorrow so now have £6 in my purse and have baked some lovely chocolate orange muffins (from GC thread) for pud. Delicious!

Have cleaned the floors and done washing and dishes tonight ready for tomorrow so all neat and tidy ready for my guest.

    Happy Valentines Day all :happyhear:happyhear:happyhear
