Any budget is better than none ladies!

Ace news on the case Maty.
After 3 right busy days at the shop I'm now off til Sunday 2nd! :j
Tomorrow I'm going to have a look at the sales. I have a £25 Boots voucher that I got from [STRIKE]my brother[/STRIKE] mum for Xmas. I need a new lip pencil and gloss so will see what I can get. I also still have £15 cash and a £30 say shopping voucher to use. The voucher works in Boots so i could stock up on loads of stuff for the year...or i could buy a nice frock in Warehouse or River island with it.
Mum gave me her old camera after Xmas as she got a new one so I can use this for a bit of ebaying as I have spotted a few things in the wardrobe that I am done with.
I also have a frock that needs shortening, some boots that need rehealing and 2 coats to be dry cleaned so need to get on with that.
Also need to do some shopping for Hogmanay tomorrow. An ace old mate is coming through and we're going to eat, drink and fester to our hearts content :beer::beer: Unfortunately I may need a trip to M and S food hall to achieve this . I'm buying the food and my mate is going to bring booze. We also have some ace DVD's to watch.
I like to buy a new duvet and pillows for new year and need some tights and socks but I will see how the cash goes tomorrow.
I have lovley new bedding to put on for New Year which mum gave me for Xmas. Will just need an iron first
Just going to watch more carp on telly then off to bed. Lots to do tomorrow X'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Enjoy your time off - sounds like you will have a whale of a time over new year

I bought myself new bedding for Christmas - was lovely to have the new stuff on for the new house, so I can relate to the new year thing!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hi y'all. See you're all well. I've had a busy day and have:
Done all my NYE/NYD food shopping - smoked salmon, prawns, pate, part baked rolls, duck spring rolls, loaded potato skins and olives are now in the fridge. I've also got some sausages and garlic mushrooms in the freezer which were a bargain in Tesco the other day.
Bought some tights and socks at Primark. There was a yukky women in there roaring at her child!!!
Bought some make up from Boots with my voucher.
Tried on some stuff at the sales. I looked like a big fat bochle in all of it so more determined than ever re the diet. It's all on my belly as always.
Hoovered and mopped the flat
Did all my dishes
Threw out carp from the wardrobe and put a few bits aside ready for charity shop/ebay in the new year
Spoke to Mum, sis and bro on the phone.
Took coats to dry cleaner, boots to reheelers and dress to be shortened.
Quite productive really.
Sis and I were talking about goals and I'm going to send her my first post to show her what I'm up to and she's sending me hers.
I want to add getting fitter to mine I've decided. I'm creaky and should be a lot fitter at my time of life. Will add them to 1st post.
Spent loads today. As well as all the food I also went out for lunch with my gay husband and took him for a festive prosecco. Never mind, was all good.
Need to get up early tomorrow and change the bed for my friend coming. Mum and Dad are coming up to go to the ballet so bro and I are meeting them for lunch.

Have a lovely NYE / NYD / Hogmanay

Here's to a fabulous 2011! :j
Happy New Year!Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Thanks ladies, mum and dad off to the ballet after a lovley lunch and I'm just waiting for my friend now. Was up at 9 putting the new bedding on and washing the old one and cleaning the bathroom. New bed has loads of ribbons and butterflies and took a bit of ironing
but is beautiful on.
My cousins hubby died the other night so I am taking next Sat off for the funeral. It's my dad's bday on Saturday too so my bro and I are going to Mum and Dads on Friday after work for dinner, then the funeral and will come back up on Saturday afternoon. He had MS for years and was completely bedridden for the last few. I haven't seen him in years but his family have done an amazing job and I want to be there for them. Have a friend coming through in the Saturday night who is a rep mate who I only see once a year so I won't cancel him as I'd be coming back up the road on the Saturday anyway and whilst I'll be sad I'll be okay as he was a poor soul in recent times.
Diet starts on Monday (will obviously need to break it at the weekend for Dad's dinner, funeral tea and drinks with the friend) but have decided to start anyway as there is always something social going on which could stop me from starting it and I just want to get it cracked.
Because of this and also with the funeral and how much I spent yesterday I have decided to give the panto a miss. My stomach is already protesting and we haven't even had tonight and just kind of want to get my head down a bit in the New Year and start to get slim. My friend is in the show so if we go it will be drinks afterwards, followed by a hangover and neither of these will help me to eat properly! Also the cost would stress me and while I will save a bit by not going out so much this month, I'll need it to cover yesterdays horrible spends!!!
All okay though as I've really enjoyed it all and am in a much better place going into Jan than I was this time last year.
On that reflective note in 2010 I have:
Got a new job with a 6.5K payrise (without looking for it)
Tidied my money stuff up a good bit
Stuck to budgets for food
Saw lots of friends and had lots of fun
Saw Mum get her hip replaced and been able to see lots more of her
Stared recycling and kept this up
Started making steps towards setting up my business and done my first personal shop (A long term dream for me)
Been to see friends in London and seen more theatre/comedy
met some lovely new friends through MSE
So long may it continue.
I may get back on later but if I don't a very
Happy New Year
