  • Just wanted to say how much I enjoy your threads and your "joie de vivre" which is very much along the same lines of mine. I am 20 years older than you but am still living the "Samantha" life and loving it.

Keep up the posts - you are an inspiration.

Thanks for all the good wishes ladies. Had a lovely day at home and just got back to my wee flat at about 6 tonight. All cosy and just had a friend round for cheese and biscuits. Time for Benidorm now which as an ex rep I absolutely love!

Went into work on Xmas Eve to find half the electrics off so had a right old panic but they were off in the whole building and came back on at about half ten :j:j:j We were really busy all day and I got on the earliest possible train after work. Had a nice family meal and a decent nights sleep and got up at 7.30 on Xmas day for pressy opening. Got some fabby stuff and had another lovley meal at my bro's godmothers in the afternoon with their family and mine. Got home in time for a bit of strictly and enjoyed the Royles and Come Fly with me with yet more food before bed.

Had a final big family lunch today and travelled back up with my bro. Working tomorrow til Wednesday night then off again til the 2nd.

Money wise I'm doing okay. Got £63.50 for the sales (cash and a Say Shopping voucher), a £25 Boots voucher which I plan to use to buy some make up and £51 in my purse which has to last til Thursday. Going to keep most of that back for next week for New Year though as just working the next few days.

Theatre fund is £6.06. Will be checking this weekly.

    Just unpacking, back soon X
