Have just been through the toiletry stash and I have plenty of deodrant, shampoo, conditioner, razors and face moisturiser. May need to buy some body moisturiser before the end of Jan but not much. Have heaps of random body butters etc as well which i have in a box with my handbags ready for my HOLIDAY!!!!!
Just enjoying some red wine and Chatty Man with some Thorntons sweets. Tis lovely XXX'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
That sounds great, Souk - and like you, I enjoy having something loose and comfy (if brightly coloured
) for the house ... that blank notebook and the goals are the "seedcorn" for this year, aren't they! My niece has a book I'm borrowing when I'm at my sister's again later this week - Dummies Guide to starting an online business, thats a potential little piece of seedcorn for me. 2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Glad you had a good Christmas. You are sounding very organised - good way to go into 2011. Wish I felt so 'in control'!
What did you think of Benidorm? I was quite disappointed. I didn't think it was as funny as before and we're not used to such sad endings. I'm quite a kid at heart and like programmes that leave me feeling good - particularly at Christmas.

Hi ladies, goals book is a pad of blank lists things for me to write in.
You're right about the seedcorn KC.
Sue I was drinking with a mate of Geoffrey Hutchings last week and they had written a different show but then he died suddenly so I thought that was quite fitting considering. Does make me hoot!
Work was heaving today so having a bit of a relaxing night in with a cuppa and a few cocktail sausages. picked them up in Tesco along with some garlic mushrooms at 75p each so have put them in the freezer for New Year. Freezer is a bit rubbish though so they might not freeze but at that price i thought I'd risk it.
Off to look at luggage in the sales as my cheapo case is knackered. Back later X'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -

Thanks little h. I know I'm lucky to have such fab parents and other family. We are all very good to each other.
Seen a few nice cases in the M and S sale. May brave it tomorrow after work as my local one is open til 7pm...or may just order online.
Got a £60 grocery budget this month. Not sure if I'll manage it as I'm going on the diet as of the 2nd of Jan and it all has to be fresh and meat/fish based rather than spuds/pasta based and it tends to cost a lot more. Going to give it a good shot though. Wont include the food for New Year though as that's coming out of the spendy budget.
Don't think I'll do a spending diary this year as kind of know where my cash goes by now! Left my phone charger at mum's  so hoping I can get a cheapo one tomorrow.'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
No phone charger anywhere...the phone is too carp  but Mum and Dad are up for the ballet/lunch on Friday so they'll bring mine then.
Bought some essentials today:
3 Simple shower gels £3
A new tin opener £1
and a few groceries totalling £2.74.
Still have £45 of this weeks money in my purse and am on budget to lift another £60 from the bank on Thursday so so far, so good. Need to make this diary a bit more about money than the last one so there will be lots of chat about my various budgets and spends I think in lieu of a spending diary to keep me on track.
Went to M and S after work but they were unaware of any sale luggage in store so I'm going to order a lovely wee case online now. Went to the food hall and was on the verge of picking up some (tiny) mini macaroons when I saw that they wanted £4.99 for them  They are teeny so not worth 5 British pounds :money:
Need to transfer my buffer money to mum now and order my case and I'll be back X'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Hello lovely,
If you have a TK Maxx anywhere near you, they often have fab luggage at very reasonable prices. Other than that do try quidco as lots of places are having sales & offering free delivery too

Thanks love, have just ordered a wee £15 one from M and S but will certainly investigate TK Maxx and Quidco for various other bits!
One more day at work then off Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Yippee!'The road to a friends house is never long'0
