This rate is shown at 17p which in itself is excellent value. However at present it is actually 13p which is an absolute steal compared to others.0

Some listing observations:
BT etc Calling from Connection charges incomplete:
If I look at the listings for a country from a BT line (china, germany),
it (correctly) lists 18185 and call18866 as connection charge 4p/5p and it lists BT mainstream with a connection charge of 15p
Whilst I totally accept that this is the charge from that provider.
It completely ignores the BT 15p connection charge still present to call all the 0844 access numbers (via BT). The same must be true of Virgin, sky, talktalk etc etc
Can the charts be updated to show the 2 connection charges,
(15p+0p) for 0844 if no connection, and (0p+4p) for 18185 etc
or
but perhaps simpler but still leveling the playing field, maybe put a top of the chart reminder of the current BT connection charge for non-free calls ? and simply do not show BT as a connection charge of 15p (as it applies to all but the free and 18xxx connection charges). It is much less disingenuous that way.
A note of 18185 (no BT charge) can be added if that is done.
Calling from a mobile:
I see that O2 PAYG int SIM card has very good rates (even better if you buy a 2000 min bundle and has a reverse call me No option), yet does not get listed, but Lyca mobile etc does. O2 also have a calling card that can attach to your O2 normal SIM. Yet neither O2's SIM is not listed or a note of its calling bundle (OK, maybe outside this scope but worthy of note).0 -
Called on Christmas Day BT landline to Australia mobile for 14 minutes only cost 29p. Thank you soooo much

Three 321 PAYG also has dirt cheap international calling via special 3 digit country access codes. Includes mobiles abroad too. Since UK landline & mobile are already 1p that's a no brainier. I could not find out if this deal applies to contracts on Three.0

It clearly states the cheap calls to 25 countries is on payg.
Use this short code service http://text2topup.com/uk/call_throughs_three/ and get even cheaper calls in many cases with more destinations , including cheaper calls to 01/02/03 numbers.0 -

So what supplier charged you only 1p a minute to an Australia Mobile then ? given that you would have a connection charge of 15p ish.
http://callchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/intcallchecker/australia-mobile/bt/easyTime has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -

I'm already in the process of switching my Three number from contract to Three 321, weird that PAYG gets a better deal but there you go.0
