Refund for two faulty headsets credited to my card on the 15th. I think that this company has acted very well, they realised that there was a major problem with this product and acted swiftly to resolve it.
  • Phoned them on monday and was told to send back headset - haven't had time so I called them back today and they told me not to bother, they will refund in full to my card.
Have tried the plug/unplug method to try and get it to charge - no joy so far!
Will give it a few more tries then may just bin the lot as a bad job!!!
    Never mind.

Can you tell me what 'symptoms' you get ?

Does the headset flick from red to constant green straight away ?

Have you tried turning the headset itself on/off/on then turning the charger off/on at the wall ?

Sure you have but if not might be worth a try.
  • I've just got the 'keep it' email and came here to post, but found you all already knew.

Unfortunately I can't get the thing to charge even with trying the tricks above.

I get the rapid red flash to constant green when I first plug in, and then if I try switching on the headset and then the mains off and on it flickers red and then constant green again.

    Any more tips?

I've tried the method desribed above but with no joy - I get either the Red/Green or a flicking green/green.
    Oh well!
I did do a search on Froogle for something else ysterday and noticed that one of the results also listed a Nokia headset for £8.99 plus £2.99 postage - I'm not sure if I can link to it but if someone tells me it's ok, I'll dig out the link again. Only catch I could see was that it comes with the European 2 pin style charger plug, so I assume one would have to source a UK style charger for it.

Ive been using mine for the alst 2 days, and it works a treat.

Its really important that you have the unit switch on, then plug in the charger, then plug the charger into the wall, then switch on at the wall.

I tired it the first time with the headset in the off position, tried again with it switched on and 'bingo' :)

Good find, this is in argos for 49.99
But first, the most asked question:

Q "Is anything worn under your kilt???"

A "No. Everything is in perfect working order Thank You!!."

More info - the headset I mentioned is the Nokia Bluetooth Wireless Headset HS-36W
Here is the link (if it's not OK to do this, please delete and accept my apologies!) http://www.ebest24.co.uk/products/bluetooth/nokia-bluetooth-wireless-headset-hs-36w.html?osCsid=b9302848f6ac6071f0a66d8c1ecc2dac
Only £2.99 for postage - though I'll hold on for a bit given the recent experience!

The only thing that worries me is that it has no contact telephone number or address, has anyone had any experience with this company?

I've just ordered something small and cheap (not the headset, but the item I was looking for in the first place) to see what their service is like - if/when I receive my order, I'll let you know what they are like!
Interestingly, they don't directly take credit cards, though they do take PayPal. A quick check on their Whois entry at Nominet states the domain was registered to an address in Hong Kong.
