  • Went for the 4.4l TDV8 deisel... Really nice dark green colour with a dark sandy colour interior and the logic 7 and rear screen package and ipod lead.

    Im rather quite excited.

Nice combination, bottle green is the choice of the well heeled county set.
Always looks right on proper vehicles too, enjoy it.

@ wba 31 - I remember Clarkson beign chased by a tank off road in the Sport model and it seemed to do well..

Enjoy it JBH! An awesome vehicle, which I'm sure you will love.

Maybe you 'cannae break the laws of physics', but the third generation Range Rovers can certainly bend them. I towed one out of a *very* sticky off road play site after he tore a tyre off the rim. I was in a very tooled-up off-roader, he had standard road tyres, and only three of them. In several places, he was keeping up so easily I couldn't keep the rope taught :o

Oh, and that bit where JC says something like 'you cant go much faster than this in anything on this terrain' - well I've been across that piece of ground faster in racing Defenders - but it hurts

They are hugely expensive to run, fall apart when your not looking and, until the recent ones, were frankly a bit stodgy. Saying all that, I wish I had another, go anywhere limos that tick every box. (Even the new 4.6 LSE that spent more time in the dealers having its ecus changed than me driving it).

It will still be a year old come January the 1st, I would have waited until January to register it.

It will be recorded as a 2010 not a 2011.
  • Wouldn't that mean 20% VAT rather than 17.5%?

No, the new VAT rate doesn't start until January the 4th. :)
