What a pathetic and ignorant comment to make. Do you have a problem with Range Rovers?

To be fair he's probably over 5'6" and doesn't feel the need for a penis extension.:rotfl:

    Enjoy yours.;)

My only problem with them is the build quality and cost.

Before you sign on the dotted line have you tried a Landcruiser 200 to compare, it doesn't have the kudos of the RR if that matters but is arguably the best top line 4x4 ever built, and will be miles more reliable.

Clarkson gave the latest LandCruiser 2/5 saying it's a bit pony and not built nearly as well as they used to be or people think they are. I know he isn't always the most reliable source but he did own one in the 90s and loved it so it's fair to say this would have to be pretty bad to sway him...

As for a petrol Range Rover, make sure it isn't a Sport or a superchanged (a silly engine in such a car) and enjoy those 5 litres of velvet opulence!

I only wish I was joking about the build quality.

If you're getting it for a fun car, send it off to Overfinch for a tweak or two, should add to the fun.

I can confirm the GL drives like a wet mattress - test drove one.

I was picked up in a G-Wagon by a client from Belin Airport a couple of weeks ago, I didnt drive it, but the way that thing pulled and handled put a big smile on my face, then I noticed the reason for my smile, a small and discreet Brabus badge on the dash board.

I'd tend to go by people that use them in situations where their lives are on the line - and you dont see them in cayennes/range rovers/merc's......

Very jealous of your purchase, I dream of the day I can buy a car as a "toy..."

The only 4x4 I have driven is the Q7, which was very nice, but couldnt reverse up my drive in light snow (right now my 2004 civic and my dads 1991 Pug 205 are sat at the top of the drive having successfully reversed up after heavy snow this weekend!)
I can understand criticism of Range Rovers when most out there are the sport models which are probably useless off road - they look too low and the wheels look too wide... It sounds like you've bought a proper RR though, I'm gonna go to the website to get a better look...
