  • Thought I would just do a mini update... Life was going ok until Mon when I have slipped back into my depression/whats the point attitude. Now to make matters worse Tom cat is unwell, no insurance, no money but Mum will pay tomorrow as its her payday and I will have to pay it back to her on my payday. So in order to pay Argos too I shall prob be taking my car off the road depending on the vet bill :o

    I scrapped my NSD's last month but this month is going ok. Only because I have 79p in my current acount and £10 in my savings account :rotfl: So I can't purchase anything!

    Please send positive vibes to Tom please. It looks like something has either biten him, he's hurt his jaw or has a tooth infection/abess. I don't think its his jaw when I checked him over last night but I am still hoping for the best.

    Take care all

  • Thanks Em and Beanie :D

    Beanie, there is but we don't recieve any benefits which means we can't use their services. I did think of them last night but remembered that we wouldn't qualify.

    So he is home and fine :T It was a cat bite on his lower jaw, its been drained and cleaned and he has a course of steroids and antibiotics. She could have left it and only gave us the antibiotics but it could have split open and he then would have been in major surgery. So the whole treatment cost £150, of which I have 'paid' £79.23 which isn't too bad as he had minior surgery and daily care costs in that. One thing I will be doing is adding him to the dogs insurance. I know we would have paid £90 excess but its still a saving of £60, plus he is getting no younger so I think its for the best.

    So I didn't actually pay anything, Mum has/is paying it all but I have removed the £79.23 from what she owes me. So she now owes me £600 exactly. I know in a round about way I have payed most of it but I am happy with that, plus it means I can still pay Argos off on payday :D

    I shall be back on payday now with my budget and the news that Argos has gome and I am card free and no access to cards either :T

    Thanks for all your vibes :beer:

  • So I did attempt to move this diary to a blog... Little did I know that people can then find me through my email address :eek: One post last night and everyone who I didn't want to read my blog had either emailed me or commented so that was quickly deleted, so line in the sand on this diary. I don't want to start a new one so imagine what's below is now my first post ;)

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Payday on Tuesday I will be card debt free :T I will be clearing what is left on my Argos card which leaves me only my loan of just over £2k to clear. It is also my last large wage before my reduced hours kicks onto my pay. So my budget is below...
    £858.36
    £160.00 ~ Rent
    £10.50 ~ House Insurance
    £35.00 ~ BT
    £19.00 ~ Dog Insurance
    £140.00 ~ Loan
    £10.00 ~ RAC
    £368.90 ~ Argos
    £80.00 ~ petrol
    £8.00 ~ Avon (2 xmas gifts, 1 birthday gift)
    £12.50 ~ Shoe boxes
    £10.00 ~ Brother
    Total = £854.40
    So thats this months wage gone... I will be reciving £50 on 2/12 as Mum still owes me a lot of money and will be purchasing any groceries needed with that. Christmas is nearly done, I need to order 4 items plus get my Brothers birthday gift. These will all cost £80 but then I also need to get one gift voucher. Don't know how any of that is happening though as my new wages are approx £600 after deductions... We shall see though :o
    Will update on Tuesday :)
