  • Had a 150 ponts voucher for Neutrogena TGel which costs £4.29 and seeing as the mrs uses this i got some. However when i went to the till it was coming up as a £1 saving but the extra points wouldnt go on.However the girl put them on manually afterwards. So it worked out at £1.79.So i went and got the rest off the shelf and did the same again.Bargain.

can i get a separate card for hubby? even though hed never use it? and can i get one for my nearly 16 year old daughter?
  • You will only get one voucher per transaction or order, no matter how many lots of £10 you have spent.

Double points coupons on triple points days is very hit or miss, my local branch says you definitely cannot use them but other people on here have managed it - our ranch has a lot of *up themselves* staffers who think its their own personal coupons etc.! also you aren't supposed to be able to use the total spend coupon off the machine on a triple poitns day, but they didn't take it off the machine @ the Inverness Retail Park branch when i bought a shedload of stuff including DKNY perfume @ £27, the woman jsut went we'll see if it is on it and if it is we'll see if it scans, if you don't ask you don't get - i do not know but they seem a nicer and happier bunch @ the Retail Park one! i like that branch better, but will not pay £7 in taxis to get there as sometimes all i may need is a £2.99 Meal Deal *its been six months now since they took Meal Deals away from Eastgate Centere and i still miss having one most days i go to town*

The new magazine isn't in Eastgate Centre yet so haven't been able to get the freebie foot lotion, they'll probably sell out by the time they get them in - didn't have time to get a look to find the mags @ the Retail Park, sigh.

My 14 year old, and nearly 16 year old daughter both have cards. and I have found when 150 points are being offered on mine for a certain item, they nearly always have more, like 200 or 250 points.

They are worse then me about guarding their points tho!!! Sponge the money off me....get the points slip from the machine.....buy the item for themselves.....and nab all the points on their cards!!!! Oh what fun teenage daughters are!!

At least they give me the points from the AC machine to use with my card too!!

Perhaps you should tell her how to do it, and then she can get lots of nice things free for herself! I'd feel really mean doing that to my gran - I'm hoping that your gran just likes being able to treat you.

I didn't think you got points on prescriptions. Have they changed this recently???
Give me the boy until he's seven and i'll give you the man.
  • Accroding to the terms and conditions, you don't get points on - prescriptions, infant milks up to 6 months, giftcards/vouchers and postage samps in store - online delivery charges and gift wrapping are also exclude as well as other things which i cannot rmemeber off the top of my head.

Boots is one of the few places with a reward card NOT to impose an age limitation on it, they think everyone should be able to have one who wants it.

God, i don't even WORK there and i know far too much about this scheme for my own good.

My first online order came today but the box wasn't big enough for the magazine sigh - the next ones coming by courier instead of royal mail so HOPEFULLY a big enough box for the magazine, lol.

I think all the mailed-out couponsexpired at the end of March, so am hoping they will send something out soon - please let it be a double poitns coupon instead of a pile i either wont use or have to go up the Retail Park to use, which means harping on to relatives to go with me, as i refuse to pay £7 in taxis to get up there on my own.

Picked up my free tampons today - but my sister never got a voucher from the machine with her card - so must be choosy as to who gets them!

Also got the healt & beauty magazine and it has a voucher for free boots body science revitalising foot lotion, says one per transaction, so you could keep going back and getting more and more!!!

So ill be off to get that tomorrow, and ill be putting the card in the machine again to see if it offers any more tampons.

    Cheers!
