send all emails like that straight away to spoof@ebay.co.uk they will verify for you that it is a hoak, never click on a link in it, just send to ebay and delete xx0

I got a mail identical to the Ops - it named an ID that had contacted me a few days before asking me to post something to (obviously!) Nigeria. I got it to my e-mail account and also in My Messages on Ebay - in My Messages it had a red triangle next to it, as an alert. Not even the best scammer could fake that!
Dear ***************:
Our records indicate that you recently sent an email to or received an email from monte8644 through the eBay email system (for example, you may have sent an email to this member through Ask Seller a Question or received an email from this member through Contact eBay Member).
Sometimes eBay accounts are used to send email solicitations for transactions outside of eBay, or to send unrelated questions in hopes that you will respond so that the other party can obtain your email address. We wanted you to be aware of the potential fraud risk these solicitations pose and encourage you to be cautious about the email you received from this member.
Please keep in mind, sales that take place outside of eBay are not eligible for any eBay or PayPal protective services and you run the risk of losing your money or your item if you complete these transactions. We would encourage you to review the eBay pages related to Fraud Protection at the address provided below for information on steps you can take to ensure that your transactions are successful:

Should you have paid for this item, please write with details through our "Contact Us" form found on the page below:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/contact_inline/index.html
Please select "Report problems with other eBay members > Fraud concerns for buyers > You paid for an item but never received it"

Hi All,
I received this email from eBay this morning throwing some light on the subject, so I am not too concerned although I have never had any contact with the member in question......so I'm not sure what to make of it, any thoughts?
I will of course take their advice and not communicate with this member
Hello,
Thank you for writing to eBay. My name is ******* and I'm happy to
provide further information about the "Communication Partner Warning"
email you received.
I have checked your account and I assure you that there are no problems
with your account at this time. I can confirm that eBay sent you the
email to warn you about dealing with a particular member. We suspect
they may have asked other eBay members to buy or sell items outside the
security of the eBay website. Please do not respond to any further
communication you receive from this member.
As you know, we strongly discourage buying and selling outside eBay.
Off-eBay purchases are not protected by our feedback and buyer
protection programmes. To find out more, copy the link below into a new
browser window:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/tp/isgw-fraud-non-ebay.html
Here's how to check if you bought or sold an item via eBay:
1) Click My eBay and sign in.
2) Click the "Won" link under "All Buying", or the "Sold" link under
"All Selling".
3) Check to see that the item you bought or sold appears, along with the
User ID of your buyer or seller.
If you have any other concerns about your eBay account, you can contact
us from any eBay Help page.
I apologise if our email caused confusion. Thank you for your help in
keeping eBay a safe, fun place to buy and sell.
Kind regards,
Machela Rutherford

Yeah, it's all above board as I've forwarded the email to spoof@ebay.co.uk and they've confirmed that it's genuine.
