Next VIP slots 2010

Hi,
despite being a long-term customer and having VIP slots in the past I didn't get one this time
would someone mind letting me know if any of the cambridge range of furniture has gone into the sale this time please?

Not happy have been a loyal next customer for years and years i even used to work as a courier for them and yet ive still not been selected for the vip sales for some time, after speaking to customer services they tell me its pot luck if you get picked how comes someone i know is selected for every single sale ! unfair i think

I spoke to them last week to find out whether I would get one and she said it's pot luck. Did get one though which is fab! I probably have an average spend of £100 to £200 at Next but that does not count she said.
This is my 3rd VIP sale and I learned from the last one to be quick - last time I had booked a later slot so hoping this one which starts at 2 p.m. tomorrow will have more left.
Last sale I remember getting to check out and half the items were already unavailable from the time I picked them to the time i went to check out so if there is something you really want grab it and check out asap! I think I went back in 3 times last time as stuff was going so fast and I wanted to check out quickly. Then all the items arrived in dribs and drabs over the next few weeks. Definitely worth it though for me as my 4 kids love Next clothes!

Just went back through the thread to see if i could pick up any tips and realised that some of you are probably already shopping!

I thought I booked the earliest slot as I booked as soon as I got the email - I was online at the time - and the earliest slot was 2 p.m. Thursday. So emails must have been sent at different times. sigh.

So I just hope you ladies out there will leave me something otherwise will just have to get up at the crack of dawn for the shop sale _pale_ or trawl ebay for bargains!!!

I had it from good authority that if you have a 'nil' (ish) balance you are not considered for the vip sale! Very unfair for the likes of me who spends loads, but all paid off in full!

Not true, i never have a balance as its always paid off when i buy something and i have a slot

i always pay in full and i have had one for all sales except 1 in the last 4 years
