Next VIP slots 2010

Is it just me or is there nothing in the sale for kids aged 4-5, 6-7 and 7-8 years?

I seem to have the same problem for girls 2-3!! The size sort does not seem to be working either.

I've seen a couple of bits but hardly a thing compared to what I have come out of there with before for 12-18 Months! :S Hopefully the 4am que starting will be worth it or I will be frostbitten and !!!!!! off

take them back & ask to buy them back again at sale price - the SA's have never had a problem doing this for me in the past - in fact it was a SA who first suggested this to me when buying a very expensive throw a couple of days before xmas 2 yrs ago

Put it this way - who wouldn't want a VIP slot? And then how many people can the system take without crashing - how many examples of this have we seen as MSE users when (for example Sainsburys Toy website, Amazon etc...) all go down through sheer weight of traffic, and it becomes impossible to checkout? It is the same for all retailers, so the volume of traffic does have to be controlled. It is partially driven by various factors, but then it is pretty random. How many posters will we see on here in the next few days saying "I've spent X thousand with Next this year, and I've not got a VIP slot...it's disgraceful...I'm never going to shop there again etc..." Irrespective of some factors, not everyone gets a slot.

You can't be sure you won't get a slot - more will get released, but perhaps not for the first window. It is luck of the draw to a certain degree. Good luck:T

Well no they wouldn't as they probably have several million customers possibly that would all rush and crash the site come sale date, all matching the outlined criterea.

You can't do this with directory returns, only store purchases (if you have the nerve).

Hmm this is strange! I couldn't look at the link earlier as it said only selected VIP guests could view them but now I can, despite not having an invite??!! Confusing!
