Well, talk about hype! I have tried various locations, the only rooms that seem to be available for March 2011 at £9 are on Sunday nights and in the town centre lodges.
This 'Offer' is not a patch on previous ones. Humph!
It happens in every Travelodge sale. Someone turns up more than 15 hours late and complains there's nothing left :rotfl:0 -
ive just got 2 nights in manchester for £18, i paid over £100 for that this year, so thats a nice little saving0

Thanks for posting this thread, I've just booked 2 nights in the Belfast travelodge for a St Paddy's day break. Unfortunately it wasn't £9 but at £29 a night for 2 people its still good value compared to their usual prices.0

It`s just the sheer volume of business today and it will update in time.
One of mine is still not showing but the other two are.
As long as you got the confirm email you`re OK.
You could also check your bank account to see if the money is pending, assuming you used a debit card.
My problem is that I never get a confirmation email - or in fact any emails from Travelodge (apart from when I have to reset my password). Also, some of the rooms I booked aren't showing under my account. I printed out the bookings so hopefully it'll be OK....
I've been using them for years but about two years ago they stopped sending me news of upcoming sales and because they are so difficult to contact I can't find out why or how to remedy it.
These sales are terrific value but soooo difficult to book. Like others here I've gone to book a room, then had to change from the default setting of one adult only to be presented with a higher price - but then after several retries got the room at £9. Really odd!My message to that greedy wunch of bankers:
Debts another fine mess you got us into!
If you see somone who hasn't got a smile, give them one of yours.0 -
I tried at 7.20am today, that is not 15 hours late by Derbyshire time!0

I deleted an email, and couldnt for the life of me remember which hotel in edinburgh we had booked to stay in as we booked it in the sale about 8 months before travelling and I wasnt really fussed about the hotel, just that we got somewhere close for a bargain price so didnt pay too much attention, so all I did was ring each hotel direct and asked them to check. I also emailed travelodge and they replied super quick with an order confirmation number etc, which I thought was really good as the only details I gave them was my name and the dates I was booked in to stay for.
So there are ways of checking if you are booked in or not.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
Doesn't work for me. I was there as soon as it opened and got the 'server down' message. Tried again and got one night in a shopping cart, trying for the second and it's just frozen there. Pathetic.0

Log in to your account.
Under "my bookings" click on "go to my travelodge"
On the right hand side under My Account, click on My Preferences.
(there is also "contact details")
Then set what you want to receive from TL.
At the very bottom tick the box for "remember me", that way you`ll be logged in all the time.
Click "save changes".0 -

I turned up within minutes, but could find nothing within 100 miles of us.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0
