I dont think id ever stay in a Travel lodge hotel again, the 1 i went to about 2 months ago was grim. I think even a tramp would of refused to sleep there ;/
I can't help but feel that you are being a trifle unfair. I am a great Travelodge fan and usually they do whatever it says on the the tin.
Yep, some are better than others but all provide a cheap and cheery night's sleep.
Just out of interest, which was the one where a tramp would refuse to sleep?"If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken

The map uses the incorrect postcode!
Look at the directions.
Directions supplied by Travelodge
Follow Ealing Broadway ,pass the shopping centre and then pass Longfield Avenue heading towards Uxbridge. The Travelodge is opposite Craven Road.
The postcode should read W13
Thanks for that. It does not appear to be very far on the metro - 40 minutes or so from central London with the nearest station at Shepherds's Bush market.
Methinks a new Travelodge to watch for good deals in the London area.."If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken

Has anyone an address please for Head Office of Travelodge?. They will not reply to my emails. I complained two months ago. They had double booked me and now won't make a refund. Phone calls to them are very expensive.0

Yeah try this search http://www.saynoto0870.com/companysearch.php0

How did they double book you?0

they've got the postcode wrong!
It's not that far, but it is a walk or bus to the tube & 14 min tube journey.
OH NO! Really? How can they get such a important thing like that wrong, i booked this hotel based on it's location... So is the address wrong too? What is the correct address?
This was the address Travelodge gave-
77 Uxbridge Road
Ealing
London
W12 8NR
The map on the site clearly shows the nearest station is Sheperd's Bush Market. What's the chances of getting my money back on this one? What a pain!
Thanks for pointing it out to me sooz, i wouldn't of known otherwise.0 -

Sorry did not mean to put you off. I've stayed there in past years no problems for the vegan festival in Bristol. 2 years ago I had a bad time there so it has personally made me wary of it!
There was a massive rowdy crowd of lads there for the cup final and their behaviour was awful - they were very abusive/rude/racist to the staff, smashed bottles in reception where children were, some of these lads started grabbing me and then gave me a load of threats/verbal when I told them where to go. That weekend my friend had his room broken into and money stolen, fire alarms went off throughhout the night too. It was a bad weekend - the manager would not call the police, me and a friend did but they just warned these guys. I'm sure its ok there - Ive stayed in lots of TL and never had any problems and will use them again. It's just put me off the Bristol one!
I'm just wary being a single female traveller.
The Ibis is right by the festival so a bit easier, the Premier Inn was good and got that for £29 last year.Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Ami-I am 99% certain they have it wrong.
I have emailed them to confirm it.
I did book that hotel this morning for myself, & it was only your post that made me question it!
I used to work next door to the building that was demolished to build the new travelodge. I pass the building every day! It had the same address, just the postcode is wrong. The directions match where I am sure it is ( complete with big sign saying travelodge coming soon!)0 -

Thanks sooz, i just took what they put down on their site as correct. I made sure i google map it before i booked too. Off to email them too and fingers cross i'll get a refund. I know it's only £9 but that would help towards something else. Can you let me know what they say and i'll report back too! Thanks again for pointing it out, lucky i found out now than on the day! Lol!0
