It's still a good location for shopping & getting into central London. Ealing broadway is nearby ( & IMO much nicer area than the bush
)
central line only takes 14 minutes to Westfield.
I'll let you know what they say....0 -

Thanks for the advice sooz, i wanted something nearby to Westfields as we have 2 young children with us and didn't fancy traveling too much. Thought we could have walked it! LOL! You must of thought we were crazy when i said it was a 15 mins walk! I was so happy when i thought i found this hotel at the location they (mis-leadingly) gave! I've just emailed them too so will let you know what happens. Not the end of the world we still have 2 nights in Covent Garden in May. Let's hope this one is near Covent Garden London! :rotfl:0 -

The TL at Covent Garden is probably the best located site in London.
No worries at all, believe me.
In my opinion the best station to alight is Holborn - it is the same distance to Covent Garden, but you avoid the inevitable congestion at busy times.

That's very helpful TerryW, i will bear that in mind when we go.0

When the youngest was under 2 we would just ask for a cot and use one room as they did allow 2 adults + 2 children + cot but now Travelodge state the maximum occupancy of a room is 2 adults + 2 children. I figure it's better to pay £9 or £19.50 or whatever now than have a staff member try to get us to pay for an extra room at a walk-in rate (this happened to my brother in a Premier Inn).
Having said that, they don't generally seem to check but I would hate the subterfuge involved in smuggling one of the kids in! If it doesn't bother you, and you don't mind taking a chance I'd say there is generally room for an extra blow-up bed if you have one.
We sleep more than 3 people in TL rooms all the time (and I'm talking adults) when I go on tour, our record was 17 adults in TL Manchester - this is utterly true..:beer:0 -

Tyhats not my experience. I was on very early this morning and managed to book two weekends away, email confirmations and verbal confs from the hotels. I was never logged into the system.0 -
I have stayed in quite a few travelodges and only had two very bad experiences. One near Wellington Telford and the Liverpool one not far from the station, both were very unclean. Most are more than adequate for a place to sleep and on a few occasions they have been very clean and smart Middlesbrough, Newcastle Silverlink and Waterloo London0

TL Manchester was filthy.. nearly put me off for life.. But chancing it again, but at Bournemouth Seafront.. Anybody been there? Trip advisor reviews seem good!0

Well, talk about hype! I have tried various locations, the only rooms that seem to be available for March 2011 at £9 are on Sunday nights and in the town centre lodges.
This 'Offer' is not a patch on previous ones. Humph!0
