Hi My 2 daughters are going to see Derren Brown at Liverpool Empire on 24th March and are wanting to stay over. Theres a Travelodge 4.1 mile from centre then one at the docks 1.7 from centre. Not familiar with Liverpool, are either near the theatre or a cheap taxi ride? the 4.1 mile away one is showing at £9 and the 1.7 mile away (the docks) is £19. Thanks

I think the one 4 miles away is the new one near Goodison. A taxi for us cost £10 each way ( between 4)but still worked out cheaper than the Central one.
  • [Think I'll leave the Bristol one the TL there is awful - again need the Fri and Sat nights for that festival in May so might pay and book Ibis as so close to festival but will be £40+ a night:([/QUOTE]
What's wrong with the TL? We were looking at staying there but no deals. I'll check out the Ibis.

We stayed at Bristol Central this year - it was absolutely fine - really well placed for the harbour area. The car park is a dire, badly lit underground one and, actually, I think we did lose electricity in the rooms for a short time but, for what we paid, it was great.

Don't forget Premier Inn also have a sale on right now. £19 is their lowest, but it's better than what Travelodge have on offer for my dates.

Hi I'm just looking for some advice - I've tried to book 3 nights but I've been waiting for the confirmation page to load for 1/2 an hour so how do I know if my rooms are booked or not? Should I just wait or try again? Don't want to hit refresh in case that means I have paid twice.

    Any help would be appreciated!

ooops forget it got confirmation email even though it does not show up in my travelodge

if your holiday is boooked u will have an email confirmation that happened many times to me and i re-did it having to put them all in the basket again and starting the paying process again. keep you page and check ur emails first! x

as long as u have a confirmation number and email it doesnt matter it doesnt show it shows u have booked and paid! same here it not in my travelodge.

! But it's a great location to Westfield Shopping Centre only 15 mins walk! Glad i couldn't sleep last night and book my dates, 2 others being in London Covent Garden. All 3 different nights and family rooms for £9 each! :T

It's a bit more than 15 mins walk from Ealing to Shepherds Bush :). About 10min walk from the hotel to Ealing broadway tube station.

Well I give up. I have spent all morning trying to book several days in the west and filled the basket three times and paid three times. I have had no confirmation email and my account is showing as no tls booked. I have used tl many times prior to today and had noproblems with booking at all. :(
