Thanks for the links can get grotty Kings Cross royal scott for £9 or Southwark for £19 on the Sunday but nowt on the Sat - its for a festival on the Sun in August so would look to book Sat and Sun.

Wonder if I should book the Sun then try and find student holiday lets for the Sat - trouble is check in not until 3pm Sun so would be a pain.

    Will think about it today!

Think I'll leave the Bristol one the TL there is awful - again need the Fri and Sat nights for that festival in May so might pay and book Ibis as so close to festival but will be £40+ a night:(

Got a £15 family room for when i go and see the Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes bowl in July.
There weren't any hotels very nearby in the offer. But we will only be 17 miles away instead of the 170 miles it would be from where i live. lol

You can of course check-in early for £10 or there is a left luggage just outside KX station.

  • Hmmm I really need a cheap hotel for next Weds 5th January in York - I was praying to get the central one for £9 but it comes up at £52.75!
  • Does not seem to be many rooms on sale for January. But lots for April, May, August - not checked June or July as too hot for me!

Which one is that please? We're going to see the Foos but I can't remember which night! I've managed to get a room but I think its the wrong night and the rest are showing no availability.

how did you get london ealing - it brings back hotels in edinburgh when you search for it

I search on the 'find the lowest price' tab and typed in London, Ealing then i got Edinburgh etc so i then deleted 'London' which left 'Ealing' in the search and then the rooms came up! It is because the hotel is not opened yet, due to open March 10th! But it's a great location to Westfield Shopping Centre only 15 mins walk! Glad i couldn't sleep last night and book my dates, 2 others being in London Covent Garden. All 3 different nights and family rooms for £9 each! :T

When Wadebridge opened for the first time you could get £9 rooms all year round in great quantity incl school hols, maybe something similar going on with Ealing

The TL sale is certainly not what it was. You used to be able to get Saturday nights at lots of decent places - they seem to have taken some TL's off the bargain list and now they are £50 plus every weekend.

And as usual, you click on £9 but it comes up at £15 or £26 or whatever.

We have had dozens of bargain TL's over the year's so good luck to those trying to find what they need this time.
